Considering the pool of beautiful people Hollywood execs have to pull from when casting a show, it can get hard to find someone who fits an unattractive character description. So, instead, beautiful stars are cast, but they are made under into less glamorous versions of themselves. These are 10 TV characters who are so hot in real life.

Even if youve never seen the show “Ugly Betty,” you probably already know Betty is supposed to be ugly. The problem is, the star of the show, America Ferrera, was anything but. That didn’t stop producers of the series from smacking some braces on the actress and dressing her up in frumpy clothes. But, when you see her in real life, you won’t believe it’s the same person.
