The timeline for the X-Men franchise is confusing enough, but these seven duplicate characters are even more bizarre.

I don't need explanations when I see Olivia Munn.
Deadpool is easy. Thanks to "Logan" we know that X-Men comics and action figures happened within their universe. "X-Men: Origins Wolverine" didn't happen in the X-Men universe, but is actually a movie within that universe that had remarkably good casting.
Solves a lot of problems actually.
Movies that were erased from the timeline don’t need explaining, nice try
I’ll give you the other ones, but Caliban is the same character in both Apocalypse and Logan. There’s no duplication there.
The Calibian was in the 80's the other Caliban was in 2029 (logan)
How about the fact that Deadpool's climactic battle happens on a decommissioned SHIELD-style hellicarrier, despite the fact that SHIELD doesn't exist in the x-men universe?
Easy first class and it's sequels are different continuous then the original trilogy and origins
X-Men movie franchise has the most complicated timeline continuity
Oh I thought the use of Caliban was intentional in both. Like in the future he ends up stumbling his way across Wolverine, both just specs of the past. Seeing how far both of them have fallen. Damn, well I guess that kinda worked out though.
My theory is that the timeline was not only reset but also distorted. Kinda like the flashpoint paradox.
😂
huge panic attacks rightnow
motorpsychos
I like how almost all of these issues can be solved by not watching the worst film in the franchise.
What about Quicksilver in Wolverine Origins and X-Men DOFP, and Stryker in X-men DOFP and Wolverine Origins?
Wait..am I watching something from IGN or WatchMojo?
They probably user time travel like in the comics right now
Old sabertooth was so under appreciated
There is a comment in Logan about how Caliban is not who they think he is or something, implying Apocalypse Caliban is just another mutant with the same power and Logan Cuban was most likely named after him due to having the same powers. They do pass on their mutants names. X-23 goes by by Wolverine in the comics now even
They have confirmed The Gifted IS canon
Give xmen and all the rest back to marvel
U left out the three actors who played William stryker
There is no continuity on the men movies . Simple
You know what? Multiverse is the answer! 😁
Timeline was changed in Days of future past bruh. It's that simple.
