The Targaryen Dynasty was destroyed and dethroned by "Right of Conquest". Whether it be Danaerys or Jon Targaryen(or Stark) they don't have claim on anything, by the "Laws of Westeros" Danaerys Targaryen is just another Usurper (Just like Robert Baratheon) to the throne. The only reasonable theory I can see Jon getting crowned king is if he actually succeeds in defending the Seven Kingdoms from the White Walkers (the Others) and Wights, which is enough of an achievement to hand the crown over. Until then Danaerys and Jon don't have claim on shit
