Noo, Now it's ends
Without Dawn, I'll put my money on Oberyn in a duel!
Because at the Tower Of Joy fight, even Ned Stark held his own against Ser Arthur Dayne.
Ser Arthur has already been teaching his nephew some harsh lessons, as his friend did when he allowed Jon to kill him. "Jon has another part to play."
Will Dawn bring an end to the Long Night? Find out… in 2019
I kinda feel that Jaime should have been the the one talking about Dayne. He knows him better than Ned. But Young Ned sounds pretty coool though 🙂
novytends
And what did writers of the show to Dorne?!
Fuck you D&D for cutting out the Daynes
1:34 is that the beginnings of a legion salute I see?
Doesn't beric dondarian have dawn now?
I fucking love this
I thought the long night was the greatest knight who ever existed!
The guy on the right at 2:31 looks like the Unabomber.
All of these wonderful tales of fiction… if only they were actually real. I mean there are thousands upon thousands of history that any of us could look through that would match, and probably surpass such well written fiction, such as this.
Who gives rat fuck on honor. I would take his sword as a warning on whoever dare to fight against the north.
GETTER SUMM WATAH!!
IZZDERAMAESTAH!!
IZ DEY A MEHSTAH
So that's why most people know Ned as honorable. He returned the Dawn to its rightful house. It it was any other they would've kept the sword for their own, like Tywin did with Ice…
How brilliant would it be if Dawn is given to Jon Snow / Aegon Targaryen.
So Dawn…one of the greatest swords ever made…and he duel wields it with a standard pos steel sword? Silly ass HBO.
Sorry, but Ser Arthur Dayne's résumé pales in comparison to Ser Barristan Selmy's!
Dawn was covered in blood next to the bed when Jon was born and Azor Ahai is born beneath a bleeding star. Jon is Azor Ahai confirmed
do you make these on your own??
Hello guys! did you know that "Ser Arthur Dayne" is a fictional character. he didn't really exist. actually, you should know too, that drogo and other dragons are not real. I'm not sure that people who live in GOT woorld know it
Arthur Dayne is a badass!
NOH NOWY TENDS
I'm actually really sick of people sucking Dayne's cock to be honest. How is he the greatest knight who ever lived?
In terms of fighting SKILLS, removing the factor of Dawn, GRRM said him vs. Barristan is a toss-up.
In terms of accomplishments, Barristan has way more deeds attached to his name (Dayne died early so he didn't have as much time).
In terms of honor, "no one can question Ser Barristan's honor" – Ned Stark; "He lent honor to any man he served." – Tywin Lannister.
So how the fuck is Dayne the "greatest knight who ever lived"? The guy literally has no accomplishments other than defeating the Smiling Knight. Like ok, cool. Plenty of people in GoT have killed top-notch fighters (Ned vs. Dayne, Mountain vs. Oberyn, etc). Doesn't make them the greatest knight…
Or do you just love the fact that he wields Dawn, which is created with nothing to do with him?
The greatest knight who ever lived is debatable, no doubt he's definitely among the best but Ser Duncan the Tall, Barristan Selmy and Aemon the Dragon knight are all worthy of that title also. That said I'm really glad the show confirmed that Jon is the heir to the throne and that Dayne died protecting his King, if the books go the same way which I'm sure they will then I would give Dayne, Whent & Hightower the #1 spot split evenly. They died protecting an infant because Rhaegar asked them too and they knew he was right.
Finally !! A video about the one and only one that can defeat every person in westeros world 😍😍
I pray this sword is Lightbringer
Hmmm. so he did returned it . I guess that makes an end to the theories which say that Jon Snow will wield Dawn and kill the Night's King
Best swords men who ever lived?!?
That's a bull of crap Ned Stark gave a distraction to Dayne before he was about to kill Ned and so we call "best swordsman" got backstabbed from a guy that he didn't kill. And what's funny is that he killed the other people expect for the guy in the floor if this man was a good swordsman and a good thinker he would of killed the guy on the floor.
Keep in mind we're still in SEASON 7..
If he was still alive he would had easily end the army of the dead, all by himself. So sad he died like that, same for Barristan Selmy. I hope to see them in some Game of Thrones spin off one day, the fight with the smiling Knight sounds awesome to watch on tv.
Honor over justice. Like every other knight. Boring
He is not the greatest knight its Daemon Blackfyre
What is the name of the sword
We need a lore video about House Forrester
Sir Arthur was a pure ass kicker. Only getting stabbed in the back by that bastard could kill a noble knight like Arthur.
Who is this narrating the story? Ned stark?
The Dayne's are such a cool house, and make for an interesting commonality between Jamie and Ned, both greatly admired Arthur Dayne. Darkstar (Gerold Dayne) is another character the show really should have utilized, he is much more scary and interesting then the Sandsnakes. (For the show crowd, Imagine Ramsey Bolton's cruelty with Arthur Dayne's swordsmanship and Loras Tyrell's looks) The show (IMO) missed some huge plot points in season 7 from the books that were strongly alluded to in other seasons. Euron's partyship and blood ritual from the books, the oily black stone and the Dayne's sword Dawn and it's long history (plus John Snows lineage) seems like a lot to just write off for the Jon and Danny swhow.
Ser* Arthur Dayne. Minor typo but still important
THEY NEED TO MAKE A PREQUEL
I really wish we had more knowledge about this character and got to see him in the current story line. He seemed like an interesting dude and inspired many knights with his honor and skill level. I think in the books he even trained Jaime, who eventually was considered one of the best swordsmen in Westerons before he lost his hand. Plus dual sword fighting would have been cool to see played out often as more than a flashback.
I love these videos, aye young ned. Thanks
"When I was younger I wanted to be him, every boy did".
Such a powerful statement.
