  1. The writers claim that there’s not enough new, original storylines left to do before the show wraps up, and yet they have the writer of the books working with them on the show AND have planned multiple spin-offs. It baffles me how they can even begin to make that statement. Series 7’s pace sped up so much that the writing suffered too. Game of Thrones is genuinely ruined – I’m so upset.

  2. season 8 spoilers: The trinity effect we've witnessed several times now is confirmed when Danerys has a vision which tells her that the spirits of those who died (The witch, Khal Drogo and her son) transferred into the dragon eggs, granting them the ability to be born again.

The witch's soul went into Valeryon, Drogo went to Drogon and of course her son went into the other smaller dragon she has (i forget its name)

  3. I think they should end it like the books will with everyone dead it will be unexpected, and it will break the chain of characters surviving impossible situations that they would of never survived in the earlier seasons, just my opinion

  4. Prediction
Theon will save Tara from the silence.
He will kill Euron by dragging him into the depths of the ocean sacrificing himself in the process.
Theon dies a Nobel death entering the halls of the drowned god.

  5. I personally thought that Battle of the bastards was bad. They way they surrounded the wildlings and Jon was dumb. Then 1 shiwldwall with 1 line of very long spears. They would have grabbed the spears and just push through as a group, common sense was left behind in that battle. Great cinematic battle though

  6. I think this is the model now for a lot of media.

15 mil dollars is more than most movies (not top end obviously), but staying at home and watching tv is just so popular.

What you REALLY have to think is they SOMEHOW managed to stop the pirates, think about how much money they would make then…..

  7. Just came up with this so if someone else did I've never read it.

Jon and dani's group returns after beating the white walkers to find that cersei is dead (this wouldn't be a surprise to the audience only the characters) and the iron bank is now in power.

Whether they place someone like Euron on the thrown as a figurehead or not, the golden company is following the iron bank's money and will listen to them first.

I can fully see the ironbank and possibly Euron betraying cersei for both being mutual fed up with her and her pathetic attempts to hang on to power no matter the human and monetary collateral.

So picture jon returns with dani from the white walker fight. the iron bank are waiting in kings landing for them. They offer jon the choice "Honor your commitment to the false queen (dani), or return as warden as the north and serve us in peace" and jon being honorable would side with dani whom is his queen, and they would all most likely be wiped by the golden company.

I feel like this would be a perfect ending, as our heroes would surprisingly survive the big fantastical threat only to come home and be out politically out maneuvered by a foreign party no one ever expected. And of course, because of honor, none of the heroes live. And we'd get that bitter sweet ending George said he has planned.

The heroes don't win, the villains don't win, the game board is just reset for the next long summer.

Thoughts? Rip it apart, it was just for fun

  8. I think that northern farmer might be one of the 'lords' of the North Clans, like Shadowmoor or the Norrey. It seems to describe them pretty accurately and I think we're yet to see them in the show

  9. No one should speak or Jon's true parentage for the whole season. Final scene is Danarys sitting on the iron throne with Jon standing next to her, then cut to Samwell who is also in the room and he says "oh! well actually…". Credits.

  10. How pissed would you be if the final 2 episodes were the first half the white walkers basically overrun our human character where ever they are hold up and they are on the run south and certain characters are being killed off left and right and the final episode they finally make it to a safe point in the south and rally with a new army from essos or the remaining forces of the southern kingdoms and decide if they are going to die they will make one final heroic stand and the final shot is Jon snow along with whoever else is left charging at the white walkers lead by the nights king then just goes black and that's it
