Why would they bring back a non Valaryan sword
Jon Snow is Jon Stark. Ned got married secretly to Ashara Dayne when Brandon was with Caitlyn, before Brandon's death. Jon is the next Sword of the morning. Rhaegar + Lyanna being his parents is fan service for the show and Rhaegar's dream of Ice and Fire ended in a miscarriage. Lyanna's bed of blood is in fact the dead baby. And this Aegon we see in book 5 isn't VI Targaryen but Aegon the VI Blackfyre. Jon Stark is the heir to Winterfell, The King In The North, The White Wolf and The Sword Of The Morning.
Maybe the young boy they cast (having earned everything in his life from his time with the Bw/oBs) could be Ned Dayne bringing Dawn to Jon.
How about the Original greatsword ICE. In the books, Jon keeps have a dream about descending deed into the crypts of Winterfell.
Could it have been possible that Torren Stark hid the original Stark sword down in the crypts to ensure that Aegon wouldn't take it for his throne?
[and Jon will have to retrieve it at some point. I'm assuming that like Lightbringer or Dawn that Ice had unique properties]
its NOT THE SAME SWORD..If you have read the books, illyrio loans him(viserys) a sword but mocks him quietly saying not that he knows how to use it,but says he never takes t off his side..Just saying Rhagahs sword is not the sword viserys holds….
omg how silly that sounds, about the point looking like a flame, lmao!!
it's not the same sword. and im pretty sure it's not valaryan steel. so y would it get passed down? dark sister was w blood Raven and blackfyre is somewhere over in essos. and didn't they say that illyrio gave visarys a sword, he was the beggar king every thing he had was given to him or borrowed by him
You did it gain Teflon!
What if Gendry reforges the Stark sword as with Jaime heading to Winterfell we will have both swords (Brienne's and Jaime's) made from Ice. And Gendry worked for a smith that knew how to work valyrian steel. Ice reforged and then enchanted with fire becomes the ultimate "fire and ice" weapon. I am liking the Melisandre as Nissa-Nissa angle to make this fire/ice sword.
It might be in the tv show, but in the books it clearly states that Cerio Mopatis gave Viseries a sword because he didn’t have one of his own.
Such shinanagans tony, really dropped the ball here on the sword of the king. I am usually somewhat impressed with your theories and this one is reaching
That curved sword would be useless against plate and mail.
My only issue with all of the predictions is that John Snow doesn't have the white hair like Rhaegar. They make such a big deal about Jamie Lannister and the color of his children's hair
In the books, Viserys had a borrowed sword from Illyrio. It was a big deal, and it represented the fact that he was never a warrior. Definitely not Rhaegar's sword, and even if it was where is it now?? Not in Dany's possession. At the end of GoT, she gives her Dothraki bloodriders gifts from her wedding but promises to give Jorah a Valyrian steel sword when she can buy one. So we know she doesn't have any VS in her possession.
The sword that Viserys wields is the sword that Illyrio Mopatis loans him. It states this clearly in the books. Illyrio loaned Viserys this sword and he takes it with him when the Khalasar travels to Vaes Dothrak. As for Dawn, GRRM says that it remains in Starfall because no new warrior of House Dayne has proven himself worthy to wield it and become the new Sword of the Morning. I don't think Jorah Mormon will become the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch because by the end of this story there will be no reason for a Night's Watch. I believe that this is an all or nothing war; either the Night's King will win and winter will forever reign, or The Night's King will be defeated and the world will be saved. As for Longclaw, in the show, I believe that it will stay with John Snow and be the new ancestral sword of House Targaryen. In the books I believe that Bran will bestow Dark Sister on John Snow since Bran will be the only one who knows John's true lineage.
"He would have been killed more times than he already was" – I love your turn of phrase here : )
Can someone please tell me if ragars sword was valirian steel? Also where or who has been holding it all this time.
Amazing man you are Mr.Teflon.Just loved the content and the way you describe it. Thank you for this most wonderful thing one can ever hear as a nerd of game of thrones
Fascinated by the sword Dawn. The valarian swords are cool too but Dawn is unique can't help thinking would Ned bring a sword back to a family after killing Sir Author Dane and why did they do a close up of the sword the tower of joy ?
Don!!,..
I believe the Nissa Nissa will be Melisandre sacrificing herself for Jon Snow,,. She will plead with him to make her apart of the prophecy once again Saying that she is the Nissa Nissa for Jon to have LightBringer
I thought illero or whatever his name is loaned him that sword
