Of coarse Kylo Ren sucks at sabre dueling who has he fought against that's actually good? Everyone exceptionally good with a sabre or uses the force is dead or Luke and Snoke from the sounds of it he killed Jedi trainees…. Not much a a feat and of coarse look won't kill him he's his nephew or possible son
This is one of the main problems I have with this movie
2:04 in that moment she didn't use the Force, she surrendered to it. it's something that even Anakin could never do.
I understand the whole mystery thing and perhaps more info on why Rey is powerful like that will be shown but I'm sorry it still kinda comes off as her being a Mary Sue, I understand Kylo Ren was shot with a bowcaster and his arm cut by Finn a bit but he was still more skilled and she shouldn't have won that easily. At the very least it should've been a stalemate or idk both him and her being injured bad and then Chewie or something comes to help her and finn out.
Coming back after watching the last jedi trailer. Now i know that silver stuff on his face is from rey hitting him with the lightsaber in his cheek.
Do people not get that maybe Rey is a prodigy for a reason? The entire star wars Canon is filled with characters naturally gifted in the force, and most don't turn out well. Hell in The Old Republic Era (now unfortunately not canon) there was a guy who literally consumed planets without being taught how… come on now. Rey is clearly going to factor in in a way that is not going to be straight forward good. Both her and Kylo are gifted in the force, and he was clearly holding back here anyway. not to mention heavily injured. She's not only gifted, but as a result she's also dangerous as hell. power is one thing, untrained and raw power like she has can be deadly, and I think the movies will delve into that as they go forward. So for fucks sake people, calm the hell down!

I actually like this fight more than most other fights in the movies. I mean sure the prequels had some cool spins I guess, and there’s something classic about the original ones, but this one actual looks like they’re trying to hit eachother. Take the Darth Maul fight; even if they weren’t blocking eachothers hits, they still wouldn’t be hurt because they’re too busying dancing and shit. And the Darth Vader bs Obi-Wan fight is like two old men waving their arms at each other yelling for the other one to get of their lawn.

This fight was the stuppidest scene in this movie. How could untrained girl defeat trained Sith in moment, when she grap lightsaber for the first time? O.o
I really don’t get why they waste time doing a saber battle when they could easily win by using the force and snapping there neck can someone explain that to me why they just don’t use the force automatically

I loooove how this fight is choreographed like two kids who think they know what they're doing but it's a lot of flailing around. Like how you and your best friend would duel. A lot of running around and one of you thinking you're better than the other
In the beginning she fought him without the force. And then he reminded her about the force when he told her he can teach her and show her the ways of the force. She connected with the force and awoke the beast mode in his….the raw power. But the most powerful scene of the whole movie was when she grabbed the lightsaber.
Can people stop complaining about Rey winning he got shot with a bow caster which kills any normal person
