-Lightsaber Duels-
It is a more civilized age with more civilized weapons. The Jedi seek to overthrow the Galactic Empire and they use their lightsabers to do it. And some force stuff. And then after that, but before it somehow, we see the evil Emperor come to power through more intense, longer lightsaber battles.
Each Episode of the Star Wars saga features a number of lightsaber battles; but, let’s be honest, we just want to watch people fight with these things and hope someone’s hand gets cut off, or maybe even see a decapitation.
Well, here they are; every lightsaber duel in Star Wars without the cutaways, dialog or any other non-sense that gets in the way of good old fashioned saber-dueling. These fights are shown in their original theatrical order as they grow in length, number and and intensity in each film. The Jedi were on there way to do something kind of important and then this happened…

Considering Obi-Wan never intended to kill Anakin even when he was Vader (obviously Anakin never held back at any point), I'd say, historically, Obi-Wan Kenobi is the most legit Jedi Knight ever graced with a lightsaber. Yoda, Anakin, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Mace Windu pull up the remaining top 5. Luke would totally displace Mace, but if memory serves, Luke was never anointed Knight status. Someone is welcome to correct me if im wrong.
To me the fight between Yoda and palpatine is what saved that movie such a good scene

Revenge of the Sith is hands down the best Star Wars movie (cue the angry mob), at least in my opinion. I never got as emotionally involved in the OT as I did with the prequels for some reason (except for the final confrontation with Vader where he's redeemed-which always makes me tear up-and of course "No, I am your father."), which just ooze emotion at every point. Needless to say, my favourite lightsaber duel has to be Anakin vs. Obi-Wan/Yoda vs. Sidious.

The thing is, it's a lightsaber battle and lightsabers don't really exist. So I don't really care what they do, they're all enjoyable to watch. The acrobatics are badass and just makes it feel like the force is really incorporated into the scenes.

The prequels are so inconsistent with the quality of the light saber battles. Some are great and then some just look like total shit
