I never noticed until this video (1:03) Joffrey appearing genuinely hurt that Clegane abandoned him. Clegane had guarded him for years. Maybe they even actually cared about each other? Beating up on Sansa Stark was a bridge too far, it seems, and so the Hound left. (Joffrey done fucked up.)

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain. But in the hound's case, you either die a bad guy or live long enough to see yourself become the good guy.

Finally! I was waiting for this tribute. The Hound is the most badass character in this show for sure, don't give a single fuck about challenging his undead brother. I think it is already certain that #Cleganebowl will happen. Also I hope Sandor will meet Sansa again, I mean if she went with him during the battle of Blackwater, she wouldn't have encountered so many problems that she had gone through.
