This is truly just a fan-fic based on the New Mutant character Dani Moonstar, or Mirage. She is of Native American descent and has many dreams of the “Demon Bear” which actually killed her parents. That’s how she ends up at Professor X’s later on. I saw that Josh Boone (who I am a BIG fan of) was making a X-Men: New Mutants movie, therefore, that’s how this little film happened.
