The beast as he is known became the first man to deadlift 500kg and he tells the True Geordie how his meticulous attention to detail shaped his path to victory. After starting swimming as a child it seemed Eddie was destined for Olympic gold but problems at school and a battle with depression took him down a different road but through hard work and dedication Eddie has earned his spot in the history books of strength. Eddie goes in to detail for the first time since his big win on the reported controversy at WSM 2017 and how his big rival Thor reacted to losing the competition.
