  1. What if Brenner was dragged into the Upside down and became one with the Mind Flayer?

It make sense as even if something that powerful was to come into our world it would need something to keep it hidden and out of danger.

  2. I think that demigorgons and demidogs are the same species but are just different evolutions of the slug. When the slug, becoming a frog-like creature, eats the cat it becomes a dog/cat like shape however in season 1 the demigorgon is a human shape, implying it ate a human as it stands up. The demigorgon and demidog seem to be around the same size so I don't think demidogs are an earlier stage of demigorgons.

  3. Regarding the demo-dogs being final form or not, what bugged me is that Dustin says on the train tracks something along the lines to expect them to molt one more time, which I don't think they ever officially do. I took this as "yes, they should all be turning into standing soldier-creatures" but it never got confirmed. Could have just been words in passing that don't pan out, but then why would they write it in?

  4. Well, do you expect the shadow monster to suddenly monologue and explain where he comes from and what he is about to do? That would be silly. The whole mystery in both seasons is about not knowing what the upsidedown is and its habitants are.

  5. I think Dr. Owens character sets up a battle between him and Dr. Brenner, if Brenner is dead then I would say Dr. Owens is probably more evil than he lets on. However, if Brenner is alive then having one evil scientist is good enough. Can't have all scientists as evil, science isn't bad everyone! lol

  6. It seems like the writers gave up after Episode 6. There was so much filler and pointless nonsense in the last 3 episodes and the ending was boring and lazy. If that's what they're going to make Season 3 like, I'm done with this series.

  7. also, explanation for the egg Is that's the egg the last demigorgon hatched from. yes the demidogs turn into demigorgons as implied by the name but the upside down was dead for a long time before 11 found it. there was nothing left to eat so the demigorgon was eating its own egg to survive. El opened the portal, it got food, spread the infection and here we are

  8. my theory on the mind flayer is that fire spread the infection. like she. Hawkins burns away the gate and it only gets bigger. in another scene adding heat to the tissue makes the smoke that the mind flayer is made out of. fire definitely causes pain to tissue but I also think the virus adapted. that's why the mind flayer shows up now. after repeated burnings. nobody has covered this theory yet!!!
