  1. Re: Alistaire Thorne and Olly – Not an official death sentence?…those characters would be considered a cancer in ANY military real of fictional for killing a commanding officer – they got what they deserved..

  2. Why , WHY is everyone saying that Arthur Dayne wasn't carrying his famous sword ??? He just planted there on the fooking ground, for everyone to see . Did you not see the fooking sun on the hilt of the sword ? The way he plonged his sword into that guy at the end like if it was a cake ? I mean come on people, open your eyes goddam ! They weren't gonna show a fooking lightsaber, is that what you expected ? That's their interpretation of Dawn, I admit it's kinda bad but man I can't handle people saying it wasn't Dawn.

  3. I am really excited to see where this season will go now that it's now past where the books left off.

Am I the only one who was really sad about Shaggy Dog? Also, a friend of mine who is a book reader made a comment that every Stark who's Wolf dies also dies. I think she was maybe reading into it a little too much. Since Sansa's wolf was also killed but she's still walking around.

  4. I wonder what the deeper implications are for the greenseer ability to not only watch the past but also maybe change it. "the past is like dry ink" seems more like a cautionary advice then the limits of the power.

  6. 4:19 – I think it was a mixture of personal vengeance & duty why he carried out the execution before stepping down as Lord Commander. Ned told his sons that the man who passes the sentence should swing the sword. Plus Olly did play a major role in getting him out into the yard where he was murdered & Olly did deliver the final blow.

  7. Does Jon hanging Olly count as a sign that he has changed? I don't really think so. His hesitancy to cut the rope that released the gallow's platform seems to me to be a sign that he's still the same man ruled by the same moral code.
