Karstark did it to HONOUR the starks also.
To honour his king, whose enemies killed his father, tormented his sister, hunted his younger sister. The very enemy that planned the red wedding and planned to kill him, his wife, his unborn baby and his mother. Why doesn't Robb respect that and just give him a warning? Damn it Robb.
