    ……..

And you let some games like King of Monsters, Altered Best, or Strider come in this top ????

This list is pure garbage, nothing else.

    Thumb down.

  2. Great vid, thanks for creating it! I like these vids for finding out about great games ive never heard of! Also thanks for adding Batman and Robin as I suggested in your other vid there are some awesome effects in this game like the full screen rotating backgrounds, sprite scaling and rotation effects on the robot cat face and nice touches like how the tablecloth edges sway, also the music is incredible!

    …. Wr…??? Wr…??? Wr…???

  4. It's nice but some of the sequences used aren't always when the games look the best (Castle of Illusion, Xmen 2…) and/or some of these sequences are just too short! (Eliminate Down) Still cool that you done this 🙂

  5. Bufff, what a mixbag. There are some really good and wirthy additions to the list but others in my opinion aren't at all amongst the better looking games (ie James Pond, Altered Beast, Risky Woods…). On the other hand I believe High Seas Havoc, Light Crusader, Samurai Showdown (especially compared to SNES ;)) and others look incredible.

  6. Not sure about the Strike serie (Desert, Jungle and Urban) being especially great-looking but for sure they do their job really well.

Also Altered Beast was impressive back then since it was a very early release (almost a launch title, released just 1 month after the system itself, in november 1988) but it could have looked much better had it being released a bit later and using a bigger cart size. Still a good-looking game overall which also benefits of added parallax scrollings over the arcade original.

Then Sunset Rider is debatable since it underuses the system capabilities in almost every ways but it was Konami first Mega Drive game and their later output such as Hyperstone Heist, Rocket Knight Adventures or Contra Hard Corps look much better in comparison!

And Golden Axe 3 is debatable too, visuals are so variable in this game, with some nice set pieces + great sprites but also some dull backgrounds with a few uninspired protagonists…

Otherwise, excellent video dude, glad to see that you picked most if not all of my suggestions 🙂

  7. If you’re unaware of Everdrives get one, 60$ you get every game on the system. They make them for Nes Snes Genesis and 64 cartridge based. Several options for Saturn Dreamcast Ps1 Ps2 Xbox GameCube Neo Geo and Turbo Duo, Neo Geo is a cartridge to forgot, but it’s 500$, but with Games going for 200/300$ it is very practical
