In today’s video I wanted to talk about Jaime Lannister’s road to redemption. There are a few different scenarios that I think can take place in the final episodes that can restore Jaime’s honor and remove Cersei Lannister from power. Jaime Lannister is currently heading North after he abandoned Cersei in Kings Landing. He has finally realized who Cersei truly is and he knows if the Army of the Dead are not defeated then the entire realm is in jeopardy. This won’t be the last time he sees Cersei though. I think Jaime will return when the time is right and he can use a trick his father Tywin Lannister used during Robert’s Rebellion to gain Cersei’s trust and ultimately take her down. Not only would Jaime repeat history but he could also fulfill the Valonqar Prophecy at the same time. It would be a very interesting and exciting ending for these two Lannisters.. Let me know what you think. How do you see Jaime’s story ending? Thanks for watching the Video!

I think Sam or Gilly will discover that Tywin Lannister was sterile, makinng Cersei, Jaime, and Tyrion all Targaryen bastards. Returning to Kings Landing and telling Cersei the truth could start the fight that ends both of them.
I agree with this theory, there is just one problem. In order for Jamie to enter King’s Landing and kill Cersei he would have to contend with The Mountain. I’m not sure a one handed Jamie Lannister could kill Gregor.
How many years has it been in the show since the very first episode?
I think it will be awesome if the Golden Company defects to Jon. Probably wont happen though.
Jaime will do BOTH, And MORE — I think the Night King and his army will get blown up with Jaime and Cersei! at King;s Landing!
Dude, that blows. Can you imagine your son talking down to you like that, and you can't even give him the back of your hand? Boyyyyyyyy.
Lovely theory
But wouldn't killing the queen make him the "Queenslayer"
Cool…there is one little problem – The bodyguard "The mountain"
Been loving your vids, man. Between reading the books and having your vids to watch, my GoT addiction is being fed well.
Jaime will go back with a small team not by his self who you think who has unfinished business in kingslanding arya and sandor it could be the 3 musketeers of westros to go after the queen in season 8 lol
who kills the mountain when/if he kills cerise ?
Someone’s still got to deal with the Mountain to get to Cersci. I think Jamie predicted his death when he told Bronn that he wants to die in the arms of the woman he loves, which I believe is Brienne. So him dying to protect the Starks could fit, maybe even dying to protect Bran since I’m pretty sure the Night King has more then one agenda and killing Bran could be one of them.
If this is true, Brienne, the Hound, and Arya will accompany him. Jaime should stop Cersei and die in Brienne's arms, the Hound needs to face the mountain, and Arya needs to make sure Cersei, the Mountain, and the executioner meet their end.
Jaime = Kingslayer + Queenslayer
Pretty convincing!!!
Jaime will be the Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch at the end of the series
Nice theory, but I kind of feel like he will tragically die without being redeemed in the public eye.
Jamie used Rob Starks maneuver in Highgarden
So he could deffenatly use TYWIN Lanisters maneuver to gain access to kingslanding to meet up with Cersi
Probably one of the best redemption arcs I can remember on TV. Personally I'd like to see Jaime end up as the Lord Commander of the Nights Watch. After he deals with Cersei of course
If Jamie does end up killing Cersei to save King's Landing, do you think he dies in the process?
Jaime ought to be Azor Ahai reincarnate.
to forge Lightbringer, Azor Ahai had to thrust the sword into the women he loves.
Jon Snow doesn't have a loved one to forge longclaw into Lightbringer, sure he got the hots for Dany, but that's hardly strong a connection as Jaime's love of his sister. Melisandre has been wrong before. cersei lannister is nissa nissa and widow's wail will become Lightbringer after Jamie kills cersei.
i want jaime to be kingsguard to jon snow
He has to save Bran.. to redeem his honor.. I just realized something..Jamie cannot be the volonqar….maggie the frog says .. when your tears have drowned you the volonqar will wrap..his HANDS…Jamie has one hand…not 2 hands..so that means he will redeem himself in another way..He will give up his life to save another..likely Bran perhaps Jon or Daenerys…marry Sansa?? He has to do something epic cause he was an awful selfish guy to start with.. now we kinda like him…and he has matured.. changed.. turned into a guy with honor..LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!
It will be awesome if at the end of the series there is a montage of all the dead Noble characters and ned stark being the last since he was the first Noble to die, like betrayed to death not of old age.
Gotta remember there is no valonquar prophecy on the show tho. I think it would be cool if they are actually just holding onto that scene (assuming they did shoot the witch giving that part of the prophecy and just left it out) and maybe use it as another cold open for some foreshadowing. Tho at this point the foreshadowing game is about up. But yeah, as far as show canon that isn't a thing. (yet?)
