Motivation is key for any great villain, but what happens when a villain’s motivation is silly, absurd, or just downright stupid? Well, you get these guys, who range from familiar faces like Cheetah and The Reverse Flash, to unknowns like Big Wheel and the Kangaroo. What binds all of these evil-doers together is the fact that the stories that brought them into the world are really, really dumb.

  1. Why is Flag-Smasher dum? I can understand why Americans can not see the logic in him. This is only based on prejudices, so do not think too much of it. The villain tries to explain to Amrikans that the flag is just a cloth. My country has the world's oldest flag, which is still in use, and we did not really care that people burned it in 2005. We laughed at how ridiculous it was. Americans can not. They talk about freedom, even though they have less freedom than the Russians.

But it's only prejudices. Who say they are true at all? I do not know and we will never know because everyone would rather believe in a lie than a truth.

  2. Composite Superman may have looked stupid, but you can't deny he hit the jackpot powerwise. Everything Superman has, times three (and he can temporarily boost any one of those to four times), plus electricity, magnetism, telepathy, heat projection, invisibility, intangibility, hyperintelligence, shapeshifting, size control, gravity control, molecular transmutation, and the ability to create two identical clones of himself with the same powers. Talk about OP…

  3. Okay, I agree with most of the choices here but I have to stop and wonder why the Reverse-Flash is here. Now, I understand that this video only refers to his original origin as being ridiculous. But what exactly was the problem with that story? As far as Silver Age stories go, I actually found that story interesting (and yes, I've read it before). Sure, you addressed that there was a bomb in the time capsule. A reason was actually given for that, though; the scientist who created the time capsule had placed an atomic clock which had been altered when it was sent to the future. Also, the atomic clock isn't really relevant to Professor Zoom's origin anyway; if the atomic clock hadn't been sent to the future, Reverse-Flash would have still found the Flash costume and became the Reverse-Flash.

Sure. it was pretty creative and out-there but that still doesn't mean it was a bad origin story.
