In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok,” Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk!

“Thor: Ragnarok” is directed by Taika Waititi and returns Chris Hemsworth starring as Thor and Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Loki. They are joined by Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson and Karl Urban, with Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins.

  1. Oh thank goodness Valkyrie x Thor was scrapped. The mini moments of "oh is it romance or extreme friendship" were kinda meh. I. Just. Love isn't needed to make movies good!

  2. YES! A romance between Valkeriye and Thor would have been just stupid. I like that she's an actual member of the team, and not just a love interest for Thor. I know Jane Foster might not be returning, because Natalie Portman contract etc…

  3. Ugh, I'm SO GLAD that this movie didn't include a romance. I had forgotten that Valkyrie had initially been mentioned as a love interest, and I'm really grateful they scrapped that idea. We need more films like this where women have their own stories and don't just exist to be a love interest for the men!

  4. Why were the noble dead warriors "buried" in the basement there in Asgard when they were actually taken to Valhalla? Vikings for instance also don't bury their dead either. They set them afire and adrift on rafts.
