Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 7 Finale Review – The Dragon and The Wolf

I know the Targaryens are known for incest, but I'm still a little disappointed that Jon and Daenerys have a romantic relationship now. Although I feel like I would've accepted it better if they actually developed Jon and Daenerys's relationship since it seemed hurried and honestly felt like they only got into each other because they were both, young, beautiful and powerful…but idk..

If Dany Hade just Flown with Jon over the wall, she would have believed and Viserion would still be alive!

Jon was right to tell the truth, in fact Cersie never was going to go along with any alliance, she was always going to stab everyone in the back with the Gold Company.. Her plan was to isolate Dany further that is why she wanted King of the North out of the way..

I agree about Little Finger, he has ceased to be a trouble making force behind the scenes, he had become a cartoon kind of a Snidely Whiplash of Game of Thrones…

I do disagree about the previous scene about Jon and Dany going North together, it says that it wasn't a true bending of the knee on Jon's part but more of an Alliance between two powers, Dany says she is going North to rescue not to conquer which may be mere semantics but I don't think so especially once the truth about Jon comes out..

The Bran and Sam scene, why didn't Bran not know that Jon wasn't a bastard before Sam even gets there. I thought the reveal was a bit weird because Jon was on top of Dany about to climax…

I didn't like the conversation between Sansa and Arya at all, that seemed so cliche and forced..

The magic should still have worked even if a hole was punched it the Wall.. But from season one, we know a White could be taken through it…

1. Is Cersei being honest about her pregnancy? I'm skeptical. It's only brought up when she's manipulating her brothers. 2. I don't think the Starks were plotting against Littlefinger the whole season. They may not have even had opportunity until Brienne left. I think it started when Sansa asked Arya who else was on her list, but there's no way they could've carried out that plan the same way had Brienne been there. 3. I liked this episode and the season. This series has been a really fun ride.

Also, I think it's kinda interesting there's incest going on in both families vying for the throne now, so it doesn't exactly matter which one wins in that regard. Personally, as far as I'm concerned at this point, none of them has an heir.

EXCELLENT analysis! Most comments on social media have been mindless, i.e., How great it is, how wonderful all the interactions are, how cute Jon and Dany are and how sweet that they will probably have a baby(!).I have to try to keep from gagging at the phony sweetness.This is Game of Thrones, and it seems to have lost so much this season. I liked seeing all of the minor characters, but found their interactions a little too 'pat'; everybody is playing so nicely together, it's like a Hallmark TV movie instead of the edgy story we have known.

Qyburn had a huge boner when he had that wight arm in his hand.

I don't think there was "teleporting".  I think they did what all movies/tv does, with the exception of "24".  Good old fashion, run of the mill time skip.  I guess they could make each season 22 episodes and we could watch people travel and have more "slow episodes" but then the dragons would be people in a plastic suit b/c of budget.  Also people belly ache that important dialogue makes the episode "slow".

How the malarkey is Cersei still alive? WTF! Cersei and Littlefinger BOTH should have died.

Jaime left Cersei, Arya killed Littlefinger, the wall came down, Jon and Dany had boat sex, Vision breathes blue fire, am I dreaming??

Lyanna/Raegarboat sex and the death of LF was awesome. LFs pleading was horrible acting. It was like the prior takes, I'm sure he was laughing or something because he blew it.

We should have had 10 episodes. The teleporting was just not right, and they could've fit more explanations of everything in. It seems like the producers are tired and want to get it over with. Not right!!

Hey Fentony, do you think that since the Mountain is technically a zombie himself that the Night King could turn him into a new White Walker? Or does that sound too farfetched to you?

It worries me that we don't see what else happens between Cersei and Tyrion. It makes me wonder just what Tyrion promised Cersei to get her to fall in line. (At least make him think so) "No promises or assurances from any of YOU." I believe Tyrion was beside her when she said that. Her words were directed to everyone else. What would Tyrion promise Cersei? "Self sacrifice of a good ruler" Comes to my mind.
