1:51 whether you now like the red woman or not, i have always despised her. she didn't bring Jon back because she cares about him. she only did it because Davos pressured her to do it and just to see if she could for her own ego. Melisandre is vile, always has been, always will be. i bet you wont like her after Ser Davos confronts her in 6 x 10

Don't know what you're talking about. I remember theme music from all those films you mentioned.

i think the faith and will of Davos had a lot more to do with bringing Jon back than the mumbo jumbo the red woman did.

I disagree with you about other soundtracks not measuring up to Thrones.

I think it has little to do with quality and more with exposure. You've heard the GoT theme at least 67 times now, whereas you heard the Avengers theme probably 2 or 3 times.

The music on the show is great, but honestly, while the main theme is catchy, it's far from amazing. Personally I think the Avengers theme is much, much better.

Alan Silvestri is an absolutely amazing composer who has created hundreds of memorable soundtracks, so I think he deserves at least some credit.

Also, did you know Djawadi also composed the music for Prison Break?
