Let me know what you think! Does Grindelwald want to become the immortal Master of Death? Is he becoming a character that is too similar to Voldemort?
Thanks for watching and I will see you in the comments!
Jumping in on your videos a bot late because of the big Thanksgiving holiday long weekend in the U.S. (Wish you could come some time for the feast!)
We are now in the problem with prequels; we know what happens. We saw Grindelwald steal the wand when he was younger, from whom, we do not know, but THAT may be interesting. However, he was younger than what we will be seeing in the film.
HOW are they going to out-villain Valdemort??? I do hope we get into Nicholas Flamel's story.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I don’t think Grindlewald will search out the stone or the cloak. I think that since he’s got the Elder Wand he won’t bother with the other two. I don’t think his plan is to become the master of death, but instead will continue to try and expose the wizarding world and the stone and cloak play no part in this. And we know that he never does unite the Hallows. I think that he may be thinking along the same lines as Voldemort, if he’s the master of the Elder Wand then he likely thinks he’s invincible. But the question remains, is he still the true master of the wand? I don’t think so. I believe that Newt unknowingly became the master when he used the swooping evil to bind Graves, and before they duel in 1945 Dumbledore will work with Newt so that the wand will have switched allegiances to Dumbledore so that he is able to defeat him. It’s said that the wand cannot kill its true master, just as Harry defeated Voldemort despite the fact that he was using the wand, so to will Dumbledore defeat Grindlewald because he will not be the true master going into the duel. Remember when Draco disarmed Dumbledore before Snape killed him, Dumbledore said “good” to Draco because he unlike Voldemort knew you didn’t have to actually kill the other wizard to earn its allegiance. And I’m just assuming here that Dumbledore figured that Voldemort didn’t truly understand the wand and how it’s allegiance worked. He only wanted a wand that could beat Harry’s.
I think they told us that Grindelwald escaped because it would be too expensive to film
Agreed.
He came before Voldemort, do he is icon
