AFTERBUZZ TV — Punisher edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of Netflix’s Punisher. In this episode, hosts Zach Wilson, April Dawn, Zach Silverman, and Nate Miller discuss Episodes 1-7 of Netflix’s The Punisher
Marvel’s The Punisher, or simply The Punisher, is an American web television series created for Netflix by Steve Lightfoot, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films and other television series of the franchise, and is a spin-off of Marvel’s Daredevil. The series is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios, with Lightfoot serving as showrunner.
The series revolves around Frank Castle, who uses lethal methods to fight crime as the vigilante “the Punisher”, with Jon Bernthal reprising the role from Daredevil. Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ben Barnes, Amber Rose Revah, Deborah Ann Woll, Daniel Webber, Jason R. Moore, Paul Schulze, Jaime Ray Newman, and Michael Nathanson also star. A television series centered on the Punisher received a put-pilot commitment at Fox in 2011, but that project fell through. In June 2015, Bernthal was cast as the character to appear in the second season of Daredevil. Development on a spin-off titled The Punisher began by January 2016, before the second season of Daredevil was released. In April 2016, Marvel and Netflix ordered the series, confirmed Bernthal’s involvement, and announced Lightfoot as executive producer and showrunner. Filming began in New York City in October 2016, and concluded in April 2017.
The Punisher premiered in New York City on November 6, 2017, with the full 13 episodes released on November 17, 2017 on Netflix.

Are you going to do the second part????
I haven't read the comics and Billy's reveal as the bad guy was a complete shock. I loved the Punisher so much .. I think it's is my most favorite from all Marvel Netflix shows. I wanted more Karen. I was glad there was no mention of the other defenders .. made the Punisher more real. All episodes and characters are very well written. Loved that the bad guys were really well written, you feel for them and their stories.
Frank knew haha, he stared right at the camera. Pay more attention
Are u kidding I was like the other channel sucks thought u guy were cancelled
40:00 I'd watch a Black Widow movie with the tone of Winter Soldier. It can be flashback heavy much like the Punisher.
The Donald arc is done. I think it worked as a one episode story. Lets not cheapen it by having him comeback as a a side kick. Maybe he can have a passing cameo, but he doesn't need to be part of any plots.
does anyone think this show analyses PTSD even better than JJ?
The punisher actually topped daredevil. Best Netflix Marvel property yet.
Listen don’t disrespect Karen. Foggy liked her she didn’t like Foggy. She just has a natural chemistry with people bc she’s so nice. She doesn’t jump around to everyone tf. Ok she DID like Matt but that fell off and mostly bc Matt, and he likes Electra more anyway. She does I feel genuinely care about Frank. Like don’t disrespect her she’s been through enough💯😂
Awesome show.
yea nuke starts as a good guy and then evolves into a bad guy
April you’re the fucking greatest
