The way you are reacting so intensely and this is only season 2… Oh my, can't wait for the rest XD
The throne was not stolen by the Barathion's. Robert Barathion with Tywin Lannister won the throne by over throwing the mad king (Dany's father). The Targaryen's did the same thing years ago to win the Iron throne, won it by force. The Targaryen's had dragons to take the throne. So for now, Stannis is the rightful heir! Dany has to take it by force. She just can't show up to Kingslanding and claim the throne cause she's a Targaryen! The Targaryen's were over thrown before she was born. The Iron throne is won by who has the most power at the time, that why it's called Game of Thrones!
When I look at the scene where the dragons are taken I always feel as if they were saying "mommy, mommy, come get us",so cute.
Targaryens created the iron throne. Their ancestor Aegon Targaryen conquered Westros and created the iron throne by melting swords of his fallen enemies by dragon fire. So It belongs to the Targarens. If they got defeated by a rebellion seven kingdoms should have gone back to being seven kingdoms ruled by seven kings. Robert had no right to be king over all seven since didn't win it himself. Many other lords had equal parts to play in that rebellion as him. The reason he was selected as King was because only he had blood ties to house Targaryen through his grandmother and because he was unmarried and Tywin wanted to make his daughter queen. Saying Stannis is king while Targaryens have live dragons again is hilarious. All he or any Baratheon can do now is keep iron throne warm for Targaryens for little while longer.
And you can forget about Gendry. He's a bastard. In Westros bastards have no claim. Not even acknowledged bastards like Jon Snow. Gendry is an unacknowledged bastard no one knows about. So he can't claim anything that belongs to house Baratheon.
4episodes Juli?!!!Wow that is great!!!!๐๐
Juli I agree with you about Theon. This short video is about Greyjoy rebellion https://youtu.be/j6ISGv15_uM
Most people acknowledge Theon's identity crisis but you do so much earlier than anyone I've known. Very impressive!
teen wolf ?????????
a lot of people think dany is acting 'spoiled and entitled' here but look, she's in charge and she has to be confident and in control of the situation
i feel like if a man acted the same way no one would bat an eye
you have to command respect to get it and it's a 100 times harder for a female
so yeah, she's going to act bossy and act like she deserves it because if she doesn't then people will walk all over her
Team Cersei <3
i believe theon was taken prisoner by the starks but they treated them well and as their own and his own family never attempted to bring him back but it still doesn't negate the fact that he was taken prisoner
but yeah, i mean obviously i get theon in a way (he's by far from my favorite character but unlike a lot of people i think he had fair reason to get back at the starks) the starks didn't have noble purposes for taking him in though they treated him well
i understand the want to please your birth family even if you didn't know them well enough
people say 'well the starks treated him better than his own family so he should be loyal to them' but again, dude was still a prisoner and sometimes blood is thicker than water
it's almost like stockholm syndrome and people encouraging that because the starks are ~noble~
being held captive is still being held captive regardless and theon did go in wholeheartedly with a plea to help robb but it didn't surprise me that his family didn't take it well when they held one of their own prisoner for all these years even if they don't care that much about theon it would be the principle of it all (technically they hardly know him anymore and probably think he's been brainwashed by the starks and the fact that he came with them as a plea to help them proves it)
so by theon choosing his family it was letting them know he's with them and not just a puppet of the starks
i believe theon really cared about robb in particular but he also knows he needs to pave his own way and stop being prisoner and start being a greyjoy
and i get it, theon acting all cocky and being an asshole all while betraying the heart of this show (the starks) makes you not like him but all these characters are more complex than ~evil bad guy~ or ~lawful good guy~ just like real life no one is fully good or fully bad and in this situations you kind of see how the starks fucked up and that theon has good reason which shows they are different from what the fandom likes to simplify them as 'good' and 'evil '
again, theon is far from my fave and i think the way he personally handled the situation was poor but i also understand as well, it's important to think to yourself what you would do in their shoes so you can truly understand the position
I can understand that you sympathize with Theon. That is how the character was written. But, you have to remember he pledged himself to Rob. Despite all the circumstances you just talked about, he didn't have to do that. He was never forced to pledge his allegiance to Rob. The bottom lone is that he betrayed Rob. In my opinion the circumstances that led up to that don't really matter.
tywin (tyrions dad) is more like how you originally pronounced tyrion
i'm not bilingual (though i admire you guys so much because i've tried learning new languages and it's so hard!!!) but since i'm american sometimes the pronunciations don't translate well for example, someone in europe could be named cara and they pronounce it like CAR-A but over here you want to pronounce it like CARE-A so even first language english speaking countries sometimes have trouble because of accents and such (btw though a lot of the cast are from europe tyrion and jamie's actors are from america so they have to put on a accent)
but yeah generally
tywin is TIE-WIN
tyrion is TEAR (like as in crying) – E- ON
it's probably easier to separate it into syllables (like i typed) and make each individual sound first and then mash them together
still, i personally don't care how you pronounce things because i'm sure most people know who you're talking about regardless
i also find that a lot of languages lack certain letters we use (like asian languages in particular) so a lot of the time it's really hard for them to pronounce things because thy have never had to use that letter or sound in their life and we need to understand that obviously if you've never used that letter or sound it's going to be hard to pronounce things no matter how much you try it's an uphill battle because not only do you need to learn the pronunciation but you need to also learn and memorize the letter and sound
Daenerys doest NOT have any claim to the throne. The throne belongs to the Baratheons, now that they defeated the Targaryens fair and square. It does NOT really matter who built the throne. She thinks she is the heir because Viserys told her as much and she doesn't recognise Baratheon's claim, but that is useless because everyone else in the seven kingdoms bent the knee to the Baratheons and declared them as their Royal Family! Stannis is the rightful heir as of now!
Love Sansa and The Hound xx
the throne was not stolen….it was lost via the conquest ethic…Stannis it the true heir…
Say it with me, now: Ja'qen Ha-gar!!!!
Notice how Theon are taking after Ned Stark and wielding the sword him self compared to Joffery who let some one else do it.
In my opinion, Stannis is the rightful heir. One cannot argue by the fact that the throne has been stolen from the Targaryans, because they stole it too by conquering the Seven Kingdoms.
i learned how to pronounce Tyrion by watching EVERY character in the show saying his name…. ain't got to read about it.
I love Ygritte. The actress was also on Downton Abbey.
If Jon didn't capture her again she woukd have alerted the other wildlings about his scout party.
I have the feeling you like blonds Juli ๐ธ๐ผTvd: Rebekah pll: Alison and got: Daenerys
looooooove it
Good analysis of Theon. Most of the Thrones characters have a real depth to them which I really enjoy.
I love that you care about Sansa and don't just sraight up hate on Theon!
Love your reactions for game of thrones and how you really understand every character
Ah Ygritte my ginger baby ๐๐๐๐๐
True fact: The actor who plays Jon (Kit Harington) and the red head wildling Jon captured, Ygritte (Rose Leslie) are getting married next year in real life. They've been together since this season. I guess her teasing him in the show worked in real life #winning
Can't wait for the Vampire Diaries๐ญ
I really liked your toughts on Theon -the fact that he was with the Stark as a "prisoner". It doesn't justify his actions of course, but it's nice to see a reactor taking that in consideration, it shows that you really want to understand every character.
PS. Cersei is my favorite too.
Love your reactions! And I love how much of a fan girl you are for dany. Sheโs one of the characters that gets the most amount of hate and criticism (Iโll let you guess why lol) so itโs nice to see!
14:08 ahahahahahahahaahahahhahahahahahah
14:34 WHO THREW THESE POOPS ON ME!!!!???……I can never unhear that ๐๐๐๐๐๐
