It always bugged me that she is too good looking for playing Brienne of Tarth. In the books, that character is quite ugly. She is a beautiful woman.

She was great in Game of Thrones, a great actor nevertheless, but how ironic is that she has to forced to blatantly sell an absolute pathetic of a character, 'Captain Phasma', created by an equally pathetic product of big studio conformist, being Mr. JJAbrams. She just can not bring this hunk of junk to life in episode 7. Phasma is a toy selling gimmick just like a space-soldier- baddie cum barbie doll. As for JJ, he is just an overhyped and overated yes-man compared to other brilliant directors that are artisans in truest form of story telling. He is just one of those cheap student directors who will succumb to studio demands with little or no regard to the art of storytelling, just to make profit margins.(Go Netflix).
Just because the big studio dumped huge amounts of money to make, promote and advertise the absolute big budget garbage that was 'The Force Awakens, and bombards the social media with over-hyped campaigns to brainwash the masses on what a great movie is, an isn't, DOES NOT make him an artist. Painting by numbers is not art.
Ms. Christie should stick to real characters developed out of love and reason, just like Brienne of Tarth. Love you.
