Martin the author of the ASOIAF book series is opposed to fanfiction, he considers it copyright infringement. HBO gets around this by paying him large dump trucks full of money he says. Say what you will about season 7, but season 6 was exceptional. There were dumb episodes like The Red Woman or The Broken Man, but Winds of Winter is by far the greatest episode of the show.

About Olly, almost everyone wanted that kid to die, while rooting for Arya at the same time, but when you think about it, his story is way sadder than Arya's, and unlike Arya, Olly wasn't a psychopath.
