ABOUT THE WALKING DEAD:
Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman, this gritty drama portrays life in the weeks and months following a zombie apocalypse. Led by police officer Rick Grimes, his family and a group of other survivors find themselves constantly on the move in search of a safe and secure home. But the pressure each day to stay alive sends many in the group to the deepest depths of human cruelty, and Rick discovers that the overwhelming fear of the survivors can be more deadly than the zombies walking among them.

  1. Third Eye Blind? Are we listening to Third Eye Blind's "How's it going to be"….. Awesome!! Oh, the late 90's nostalgia music, love it!! 😄
Back to the episode, it was an okay to a crappy mid-season finale, 6.5 rating from me. I had really hoped for more but it gave what needed to give, a mediocre MSF at best. The decision to A) show the war at night was a bad decision, I couldn't see that well, that was shit B) those obnoxious closeups of everyone's faces….Cringe worthy Ugh!! C) the pacing, really 90 minutes of bleh? It had some decent moments but overall it was a lackluster MSF.
Killing Carl is the stupidest thing the Gimp has done besides that bullshit season 6 cliffhanger. He just ruined a damn good portion of the comics and Carl's arc, nice going Gimp, nice going 💩
Next year when walking dead comes back, the fallout of Sunday's night decision will be felt through loss of viewers and 🎶how's it going to be? When Carl's no longer there? how's it going to be? Hmm, hmm🎶
    see ya guys next year!❤
    Merry Christmas guys!!! 🎄

  2. I like how these guys are honest about the bad moments and the good moments of the show. There are so many horrible parts to the walking dead, and so few good parts. The writers are idiots and they hate their fans

  3. I literally watch the hour of you guys talking about the show so I don’t have to watch the hour of the actual show. Like, that is more enjoyable for me. Which is kind of sad? AMC needs to get some new writers because this is not working. We want our characters to be bold and badass and to win.

  4. I could have used more from this ep. But it was still good to watch it. I've really liked S8-a! You all complain too much though.

Carl dying is good imo. I'm not feeling the Aaron & Enid pairing. They f*d that mission up! Those people at Oceanside that might have wanted to support our group's collision won't be cool with their leader's death. I like letting Dwight in the group… Idl taking Eugene back. You're right, this was one of the best (maybe is #1) ep. of Maggie.

  5. been BIGLY let down by this season. Negan's losing his mythic scariness, which really just pretty much diminishes his character to me.
i dunno…this season..it seems like a whole group of different people just take over the rein, cuz, i feel like watching a different show…a cheesier, lousier version of The Walking Dead.
and the main characters just keep making the DUMBEST mistakes, it's frustrating…
Rick going back to the garbage people… NONE of the heroes keep guard on the Saviors after Daryl drove the bigass truck into their HQ… Gabriel didn't just leave Gregory and drove off..and wasn't able to kill Negan right then and there…
Carl's fate didn't even give me the same reaction as any of the previous characters' exits… I dunno..maybe, i'm just gettin' tired of this show.. it used to be one of my faves… but, i saw a couple of panels from the comic book, after Negan's defeat..and i remember it still excited me. i dunno..not too looking forward to February.

  6. Yes Ben you are right. Carl got bit in the woods 2 episodes ago. If you go back and watch that episode, it's actually REALLY clear. I only felt how obvious it was watching that scene again after knowing he was bit. Makes a lot of sense.

  7. I actually enjoyed the episode. Wasn’t great but solid. The action was a big step up from what we have previously gotten this season. I actually felt a slight bit of tension, which I haven’t felt that watching this show since the season 7 premiere. I do think Carl’s death was underwhelming tho. Since he know he had been bite from the previous episode than he should have made some grand sacrifice to save everyone else. The last minute bite reveal just felt kinda lazy.

  8. You guys are crazy!!! LAST SEASON SUCKED A BAG OF DICKS!!! AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED THIS ENTIRE SEASON WAS AMAZING!! But then again my expectations for this season were expected no action and the same character development happening week after week….so considering how awful last season was this season was amazing! P.S. LITERALLLLY SOOOOO MUCH HAPPENED AND FUGGIN CARL IS DYING AND YOU SAY "I don't mean to shit on the episode but I just wanted more" COME ON YOU WHINERS! This season is definitely more re-watchable compared to the last 2 -3 seasons! The show has been missing the action for awhile now THIS SHOW IS A SHOW ABOUT ZOMBIES I DONT NEED A BUNCH OF "AS THE WORLD TURNS" CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND RELATIONSHIP MOMENTS I WANT SOME ZOMBIE CHOPPIN BAD GUY SHOOTIN' ACTION AND THEY FINALLY BROUGHT IT AFTER ALL OF THOSE BORING AND SLOW ASS SEASONS!!

  9. You know when they remake one of my favorite movies and they tell you it will stay pretty close to the original film and have the same characters but changed some plot points I don't get all mad about it im up for the change instead of them making it shot for shot.So I don't know why all these Walking Dead comic readers are upset over this big change from the source material im glad they did it trust me it is whats best for the TV Series going forward.

Now were back to how it was from the start nobody is safe I will keep on watching now I was getting soo sick of them doing every little thing just like the comics and hearing about it from its readers everywhere. I hope they move away from comics even more in the future and do more original content.

  10. I’ve said this before, but I love these characters so much that I could honestly watch them stare at the walls and talk about the weather every episode, and I would still watch it. That said, not everyone feels that way. As much as I love this show and can’t live without it, I will say something needs to be done about Gimple. They either need to sit down and talk to him, or they need to replace him. He’s focused more on killing characters for shock and trying to trick the audience than he is about composing a deep, character given narrative.
