  1. Um how can she start a new academy or be the last Jedi when Luke didn’t even train her to use a light saver the Jedi way! Oh wait she knows how to use it cos she fights with a stick??? Freakin lame! And bad story writing , just another example of Rey being a Mary Sue!

  2. Movie was great in overall view of it. But I must point at one thing I really didn't like: Disney influence trough this weird way of humor. It ruins the energy of Star wars I was used to… No humor is to obvious, while in the "old" Star wars improvised reactions to some things in movie made it funny. I still like it though. And yeah… Luke becoming the force ghost… aMAZEing!

  3. The movie was shite. Missed opportunities and horrible decisions on what happens to the characters. Phasma? Nobody. Rei's parents? Nobody. Snoke? Nobody. Luke dies like his mother, a complete waste. Leia still alive at the end mean we get some lame 'she died off screen' snippet next movie. Rei is now the SUPER Mary Sue capable of everything. Why not have her grab asteroids and wring them out like a sponge to get fuel for the rebellion? Why not have her design a machine that harnesses her force powers into making everyone love each other across the galaxy? There isn't anything she can't do.

  4. SPOILERS

Luke gives leia the dice and a kiss but never physically interracts with kylo or the planet. he moves his foot and the white crust keeps it's color. and he allways moves out of the way. in fact the only time in this movie where 2 lightsabers meet is in the flashback.

  5. It was hard to see it felt like they decided to change directions and forget what was set up in force awakens . I mean what were Rey’s dreams about then why is snoke built up to just be killed off so easily why can’t five star destroyers catch one ship why can one wing defeat a massive ship so easily if Rey is not connected to anybody which I’m fine with why does the light saber call to her and how does she all of sudden have all these skills that she used in force awakens just confused as to what are they trying to do there was no moment I felt was memorable and that would make me watch again

  6. MARK HAMIL SHOULD WIN AN OSCAR!!!!

    Pros:
    1. kylo/rey force/fight scenes.
    3. yoda force ghost
    4. when the Resistance ship went to light speed through the other one
    5. Luke's jedi mind trick on Crate
    6. Little patowam kid on Kanto Bite using the force to do chores. perfect!!!
    7. DJ … he needs to come back pronto!

    Cons
    1. who the frick is snoke? oh wait, we don't care because he’s dead
    2. Flying Leia?? did she take night classes with Luke in the last 30 years?
    3. Kanto Bite mission was POINTLESS
    4. rey learned the ways of the force in 2 seconds on a rock. uhh ok.
    5. the whole "we're almost out of gas" but we still have just enough for the last 2/3 of the movie. lame
    6. Blue milk … gross
    7. some of the jokes were bordering on too much. Luke brushing off his shoulder?

  7. I really enjoyed the movie but there were a few moments that I couldn't wrap my head around like the whole scene when the bridge of the rebel ship explodes and that one thing happens with Leia. Hopefully all will be explained soon.

  8. absolutely horrible movie. audience booed when it ended. some walked out when leia "moon walked" a few more left when luke faded out like a bad fart in the wind after becoming "tired"

  9. Favorite part might have been when it was revealed that Luke was projecting himself from the island. Least favorite part has and always will be the unnecessary moments of humor. Some of them are great but it just happens too frequently

  10. I enjoyed the movie but also left feeling a little let down. Snoke's character clearly displays all this power throughout the early parts of the movie even having the ability to throw Hux to the floor from across the galaxy but all we get out of him is a few cheap force abilities and no story at all. He died way too easily and I kept looking for him to put himself back together and fight Rey/Ren.

Luke and Rey's training consists of 3 lessons which last a about 10 seconds each. Her scene in the cave was kind of a throwback to Luke on Degobah (sp?) in the tree where he see's himself as Darth Vader but it didn't really add value beyond that call back.

The entire plot line with Finn and Rose could have been left out of the movie and I wouldn't have cared. Hell I would have probably been happier had they left that part out. It was cool to see some new creatures in the casino but it was a throw away sequence where they call Maz Katana for no other reason than she was in the TFA.

There were several moments during the movie where I turned to my dad and just said "WTF". Leia superman flying through space after being blown up, suffocated, and frozen just made me mad. Why didn't they use the other ships running out of fuel as projectiles too? Do ships not have auto pilots? Can droids not pilot capital ships? We saw BB-8 take a walker but C3P0 couldn't have stayed behind so the 2nd in command of your small group that needs every single member they can get doesn't have to die?

The First Order is meant to be this all powerful military force in the galaxy and they clearly have a lot of big toys but they for some reason don't have ships that are fast enough to catch up with the Resistance? In the rest of the movie they're introducing incredibly advanced technology and weapons (hyperspace tracking, dreadnaughts, snoke ship, new ATAT/ATST, etc.). Noticed the Jedi texts on the Falcon at the end when Finn drapes the blanket over Rose?

Some really amazing fight scenes including the opening sequence, Crait, and the throne room with the guards. I really need to go see it a second time to catch some other details before I make a final call on how I feel about it.

  11. I still see Rey as a Mary Sue character, seeming like a too perfect naive no body with little character development. Rian wants me to believe that after 2 1/2 lessons with a de gruntled out of touch teacher than she became a Jedi. Disney please! Story group needs to rein in these outrageous ideas. They could salvage this by making the whole movie a nightmare sequence, bring George Lucus back on as creative consultant with Abrams and finish this Skywalker story properly. This was the worst handling of the Star Wars universe since the Life Day special.
