people all talking shit on the ufc about paying peanuts to their fighters. when in reality any well known top 10 fighters are making more than a year salary at a decent paying job such as nurse, paralegal, police officer for one 15 min fight. if u think making 40-60k for one fight is peanuts then you are either a rich prick or delusional. i suffer in a warehouse 3rd shift working 45-50hrs a week in freezers lifting 100lb cases of meat for 30k most a year. i would kill for an opportunity to make that in one night. even with a 2 month camp. now i can do that 3-4 times a year and make as much as Dr, surgeon, politician, judge, or top lawyer. while theres people slaving at mcdonalds for 15-20k a year. now that's peanuts!!!!!

now don't talk about the fighters who headline cards and are champions or top contenders like Overeem who made 900k against Mark Hunt. Tony Ferguson makes 500k. kevin Lee made 250k. Cody Garbrandt makes 450k. Dillashaw 320k. Now think of Stipe salary, Woodley salary, they're all making over half a million per fight plus reebok sponsorship is an extra 30-40k as a bonus on top. that alone is a year of hard work full time in the real world. just to put on shorts with a logo. now if you make a fight bonus add another 50k on top. the point is if you promote yourself correctly, and win fights you can make a great living. and the ufc is platform to be recognized and advertise yourself to consider opportunities in entertainment. that alone is priceless. especially if u stay active.. a champ can make 1.5 million a year if they fight 3x. how's that peanuts??????
