I’m glad you guys realized that by killing two men she actually saved all the rest of the men who bent the knee. I doubt there’s another ruler besides Jon who would’ve let all those men survive. Robert, Tywin, Cersei, Bolton all of them would’ve killed every last soldier.

I've had this argument before, and I'm sure many will both agree and disagree: Daenerys didn't really give the Lannister men a choice. "Choice" means being able to own your actions. When someone holds your life in their hands (i.e. a stick-up, or a hostage scenario) that person is basically owning your actions — owning your body for that matter. Of course, it was the soldiers' choice to become soldiers, or the Tarlys' choice to serve the Lannisters. But in that specific moment ( 01:50 ), they really don't have a choice. Dany is merely giving them an ILLUSION of a choice.
