Also Tywin didn't join Roberts Rebellion until after Rheagar was killed. Once he received that news, he immediately went to KL. Goes with the theory of them working together.
Varys is Machiavelli. Tywin is a Medici.
He should have done a far better job of educating his Grandson Joffrey
Tywin lannister isn't even on the same level as Vito Corleone guys.
I've had y'all in my subscription list for a while. I'm ashamed to say that I've just now started watching your videos. They are AWESOME!! Got lots to catch up on. Y'all do an INCREDIBLE JOB!!!🐺🐲🔥❄🌹🌠🐙😀😀😀😀
Anyone knows song ?
Rob stark the bane of tywin lannister. I loved this dynamic. The young wolf. One the best subs stories and philosophy of the story.
14:00 I loled
Was that Henry Cavill?
If tywin was the Machiavelli, he should have just written a book.
Machiavelli of westeros is literally little finger from the way that he dresses and his posture
What's the introduction music you are using?
And can I have a version, that includes you saying "so, let's do this!"? 😉
Did one guy think of all this back story holy damn
Skip to 2:45 if you've just watched the first video and don't need a recap. Like this comment so more people will see it.
Holy smoke there are 3 more parts nice
My favorite villain in A Song Of Ice And Fire/Game of Thrones, and in the top 10 of my favorite villains period
Had no idea that Aerys sent Jamie to the Kings guard. I bet thats why Tywin left as hand of the king considering that his family line wouldn't be able to continue.
Love all of y'lls stuff because it's through cynical believable yet disagreeable.
Wait so what if Tywin planned for Rhaegar to wed and bed Lynna Stark so that they could take out the Mad King and to ensure that an heir survived if Rhaegar were to die – As he did.
Did Tywin plan the entire Game of Thrones?
lol were you using images from The Tudors?
D&D players, what do you think Tywin's alignment is? Lawful neutral? He does not care about feelings, good vs bad, he has a goal and peruses it, following his own code. He does not harm people if they are not in his way, he does not help people, who he has no need of.
If I was rheagar I would model myself after ser's Arthur Dayne and Barristan {the bold} Selmy, my father's kingsguard
If Rhaegar and Tywin were such close allies why did Tywin have the Mountain slaughter his wife and children?
Trump the Mad King
Good…
One of the things I like about Tywin is that he is the richest man in the realm yet he is not a pompous man.
Interesting but aerys targaryan must have been at least a little mad, it's not just tywin and his lackeys who claim so. Varys, Barristan and even his own son (Who may or may not have been on tywins side but likely had his own opinions of his father) said he was crazy. Sure it may have been compounded by the abduction but he did at least show erratic behaviour even from a young age according to barristan.
Tyrion is not a Targaryen. If Tywin suspected he was the son of Aerys and the product of rape he would have drowned Tyrion, for sure. He was already tempted to do so.
great series! Tywin is a boss! I can't help but think if Ned would of taken a page out of Tywin's and Cregan Stark's book on how to be a Hand of the King – he would came out on top and kept his head:D
