i just want the option to take control of one of the people in a unit and fight. THat will be the ultimate strategy RPG and i hope it's CA to one day go down that road.
Well, I think this one is good. Why there are so many people complaining about it?
Holy shit, the only British ruler who received a title of The Great. It's not about mechanics for me. It's all about awesome rulers and era.
I liked Attila so I think this will be good. But idk how u can showcase something with recycled animations over 5 years old and expect ppl to be impressed.
They are gonna fuck up my favorite part of history, for the second time, just as they did with Rome 2. Cant wait.
This Attila mod looks pretty dank.
If there is no massive shield wall like in the show The Last Kingdom then I'm not buying this game. they should add a feature where you group a few units and can make them work as 1 big unit in a shield wall .
Why is everyone hating on the engine
complete garbage, doesn't even hide the fact its just a quick buck copy paste. Rather CA didn't release half arsed shit and use the time they wasted on this shit on an actual polished title like on you know the one fucking title we want, Medieval 3 or new period. fucked over by Sega corporates once again
Alfred the Great was famous for his fortifications. He kinda rebuilt some of the old Roman fortifications. Which, is what allowed him to hold off the Danes across a wide front.
I dont understand why so many folks have a problem with Attila engine!
Thank you CA for dropping the gay warhammer shit
Too much focus on the anglo saxons and danes, do CA know there are different factions in the british isles during this period? How about the Celts?
Am I the only one who is missing the castles of medieval 2 with multiple layers of wall?
This could have been a attila dlc
I hope they dumb it down even more. Warhammer was too complicated.
It is very disappointing. A lot of graphic assets look straight out from Attila such as the boots, the fur coat, some beards models, the clothes, etc. Even the walls and towers are Atilla.
Sure we all expected similarities with mails and leathers armor but still. Come on CA
This is a Total War SAGA game, Creative Assemble are still making a proper total war game. This is just a Standalone, so obviously there won't be any major game engine changes.
Im pretty hyped. Cant wait to crush pagans.
TW confirmed that Thrones of Britannia will have shield walls.
It really pains me that the Warhammer titles, games which no one asked for, get full attention, time and devotion from CA getting a 2nd title within a year and a half.
While the historical titles which we've been begging to be continued, get rehashed and pushed to the bottom of the barrel with no new innovating or interesting ideas, running off of the same engines with the same 5 year old animations, passed as a full AAA full price title.
Come on CA you can seriously do better than this, and you show it with Warhammer.
I hope they make the game more compatible with mods than other total war titles
Don't care what the haters say, I'm loving what I'm seeing
A lot of people here are very misinformed. We already knew this was a standalone flash point game with the Attila engine and everyone seems blind sided by it now. lol
