  1. Sansa doesn't want revenge, but safety. She knows she is in danger and has no other choice but to fight. "You win or you die" applies to her, because she understandably refuses to contemplate the option of returning to Ramsay and there is nowhere else she can go.

  2. 25:50 "Haven't enough people died for the fucking Starks?"
This is the core of this story. Stark fans refuse to see it. They want to believe Sansa on this one, they want to repeat "the North remembers" as long as possible, which means as long as they are not being asked to pay for that stupid illusion themselves. It's ok, it's just a TV show. The North doesn't exist, but their grandparents and great grandparents were spent in two world wide butcheries for the same sort of silliness. The author is from the generation that was sent to fight a degenerate political system on the other side of the world and it is well known he didn't relish the prospect.
Ned Stark triggered the war for a principle. His son started it when he called his banners and took the best of his people to go die south with him. This is what the author wants to show.

  3. just wanted to let you know that a kingsmoot isn't a regular thing. this was the first one held in hundreds of years.

also, there are no trees on Pyke. it's just bad writing.

  4. The Kingsmoot of the Ironborn is not democratic. It is an elective monarchy in the same way the Frankish monarchies of the 10th century had become in Europe. Only a selected top of the Ironborn society is involved in the decision. What we saw were top warriors debating, not anything representing the people in any way.
If I remember correctly, this aspect is made clearer in the books, in which only ship captains are allowed to vote.

  5. cant believe all these people had to die just for some big headed, dopey looking brat called BRAN!!! was it really worth it? Brans ass should have died from episode one when he got pushed out the tower! hes nothing but trouble!! RIP HODOR, Summer(the dierwolf) 3 eyed raven, and Children of the forest.

  6. Actually, Jorah does not have the greyscale in the books. His arc plays out differently. Another character gets infected but the show did not even bother to introduce him – we can safely assume that his whole storyline won't matter that much in the endgame. I won't say more if you plan to read the books 😊

  7. The word parley actually comes from the french "parler" which means "to speak". However when parler is conjucated/actually spoken, it is often spoken as parle/parles/parlez which all sound like "parley" in English. I wish The Wire came up with it though. Side nerd note, we speak in our parlors also because of parler…. RIP Hodor <3

  8. it was fate everything happened the way it was supposed to. bran was meant to be pushed out the window by Jamie. so him and cersei were supposed to be together. everything goes back to the mad king being mad.

  9. When I saw this episode, my first thought was that they should have propped the door shut with Brans stretcher and gotten Hodor to carry him, they would have been much faster getting away. My second thought was I hadnt been this upset since I saw the start of Up. The barstewards. Its hard to belive you can get this wrapped up in a bloody tv show. Happy new year ladies.

  10. IMO I have 4 moments in GoT that I wept badly over
Neds Death, Red wedding, Jon’s Death And Hodor
Hodor for me was the saddest especially because I had no idea it was coming
I’m assuming Hodor was the most sad for u ladies 😭
