Game of Thrones Season 8 WIll Air In 2019 – Confirmed

Considering the fact that the president of HBO himself had already stated while S#7 was still going that the 8th & final season of GofTs would probably not air until 2019 and not too long ago Sophie Turner basically confirmed that, I'm not surprised that GofTs' final chapter will arrive after 2018. It still hurts knowing that that's the case though 🙁

I just really really hope that George RR Martin will finally finish writing The Winds of Winter & have it in stores this year so we can have something big to keep us completely & totally occupied during this Long Night!!!

I also hope that the rumors about each of the final 6 episodes being like 2 hours each one with the grand finale clocking in at 2 & half hours will indeed be true!!!

So not only do we have to wait for Star Wars Episode IX in 2019, now GoT too, 2018 is officially ruined.

Thanks for the updates! From everything that's been discussed, 2019 makes sense! There's quite a bit of work to be accomplished, all very exciting! The release dates being this far out in the future, makes one very skeptical of supposed"leaks." If nothing else, the "leaks," will generate a great deal of debate, and keep the fires hot, during this long cold Night! This aside, you're a very creative, "Creator," and are able to fill the void with interesting topics! Thanks again!
