German figure skater Paul Fentz became an overnight hero after performing to music from Game Of Thrones at the Winter Olympics.

The 25-year-old made his Olympics debut at this year’s games in Pyeongchang, channelling Jaime Lannister with a gold arm and red sleeve to mark the character’s missing hand.

Fentz’ music choices have certainly been an eclectic mix, having previously danced to a cover of Oasis’s Wonderful with jazzy trimmings earlier in the competition.

The skater earned a score of 139.82 for the Westeros-inspired free skate, ending the men’s singles competition with 214.55 after scoring 74.73 for his previous performance.

But who cares about judges and their silly scores – this man’s won the god damn internet.

But guys was the skate actually factually in sync with Westeros lore?

Jesus, Fentz.

If the Olympics keeps up this trend, maybe the wait for Game Of Thrones’ final season in 2019 won’t be so painful.

You can check out a prior performance of the routine below.
