Richard Madden won’t be a part of the upcoming Game Of Thrones reunion.
Game Of Thrones brought back stars from across all eight seasons for a reunion special, which will only be available to watch on the box set release of the entire saga.
Sadly Robb Stark actor Richard won’t be present, as scheduling conflicts meant he couldn’t attend filming which took place in Belfast.
Asked by Entertainment Weekly about the special, Richard said: ‘I didn’t do any of that. I was [filming] Rocketman so I wasn’t able to do that.’
Not that he’ll be too bothered, as the Scottish actor was just nominated for a Golden Globe for his portrayal of David Budd in BBC drama Bodyguard.
The cast members taking part in the special are yet to be revealed but Sean Bean, who played Ned Stark, will be present.
Confirming the special is in the pipeline, Sean said: ‘They decided to get all the characters together for a bit for this big show in Belfast and [Conan] kind of hosted the evening.
‘Conan O’Brien did this thing. It was the last episode, so we all got together. It was good. It’s funny with work, you don’t really keep in touch. You do so many types of jobs in that part of the world.’
He added fondly: ‘It’s just like whenever I see old friends or even old drama school friends, it’s just the same, we pick up where we left off last time.’
The show will come to an end next year after eight seasons.
HBO recently released another mysterious teaser, and fans think it could reveal that Daenerys will be the one to stop the Wights.
Game Of Thrones returns April 2019
