Richard Madden’s run on Game of Thrones came to an abrupt end when his character, Robb Stark, was shockingly killed off at the infamous Red Wedding. With the show’s final season only months away, Madden is a firm believer that none of the major characters will survive after Game of Thrones calls it a wrap in Season 8.
“I kind of think it’s just going to be three dragons flying around and everyone else is dead. It’s a possibility!” Madden shared.
#GameofThrones is coming back in 2019. This will make you want to watch it all over again. https://t.co/3YjcKZ0wEN

Madden admitted that he has become a big fan of the show now that he is no longer in it. He also says that he hardly remembers being a part of the series, especially considering how much it has changed over the years.
His prediction, meanwhile, comes after scientists published a report on the survival rate of the characters on Game of Thrones.
According to Daily Mail, the study claims that characters who change loyalties are far more likely to survive than those who never waver in their commitments.
This gives weight to the theories that most of the major characters will make it far in the final season, including Cersei Lannister, Jaime Lannister, Jon Snow, Bran Stark, Tyrion Lannister, Sansa Stark, and Arya Stark.
The study also goes into great detail about character deaths and the manners in which they have passed. This includes statistics on how many women have died versus men, and where characters are more likely to give up the ghost.
The research, of course, may have little bearing on what actually unfolds in the final season. But if Madden is correct, then at least everyone will be disappointed by what happens.
And it might not be a bad thing if Daenerys’ dragons are the only things left to rule Westeros. At least that will ensure the White Walkers are not left sitting on the Iron Throne.
