Shireen demands to see her father, but Melisandre just says it will all be over soon. Shireen screams for Stannis to stop them as they tie her to the stake. Stannis stares silently as Selyse whispers in his ear, and Melisandre begins her chant. Selyse, at the last moment, tries to get Stannis to stop them, but Stannis says there’s no other way. This scene was about ritual sacrifice to the lord of light. It very much ties in with what many in the entertainment industry secretly believe in. Hollywood was founded by freemasons. Many of the big producers directors and actors were masons. At the highest levels freemasonry follows the kabbalah and Egyptian paganism. It was handed down through the Babylonian Mysteries. George RR Martin is a celebrated freemason. The symbolism of masonry is throughout the show. They believe in the lightbringer. The Golden Dawn. The Fifth Age.

There have been so many deaths in GoT. This is the most crude though and the one that genuinely makes you sad. Red wedding, Ned and Oberyn were all jaw droppers, sorts of deaths which only enhanced the show credibility. But this one was just so wrong to watch, but again the sort only GoT could pull off

I really liked princess shireen, Her screams make me shutter, sends chills down my back.
So, in my head, I'm just gonna pretend this didn't happen. Stannis dies at some point, Dany wins the Iron Throne and names Shireen her heir since Dany can't have children. Also, Shireen becomes a dragon rider.
