Hold the dragon, Game Of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke has went and got herself the most delightful little puppy and honestly our hearts have officially melted.
Can you tell how much we’re in our feels right now, or what?
Since 2011 Emilia has been all about her dragons, being the mother of them, after all, but now she’s got a little 10/10 good boy in her life named Ted.
Sharing the news with her followers on Instagram today, the Daenerys Targaryen star posted a series of adorable photos of super Ted as he dog nuzzled into his human mum.
‘He just can’t stop, He physically.cannot.stop being the MOST BEAUTIFUL PUPPY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD,’ Emilia wrote on Tuesday.
‘Erryone meet Ted. Super Ted. My new main squeeze. Light of my goddamn life. Ready to fill this instagram feed to bursting whilst still being able to leave room in a teacup.

#coshesworthit.’
In the shot Emilia gazed into the camera with her iconic grin, as little Ted gave a pout – already a seasoned poser. That was until the urge got too much and he gave the actor a big ol’ lick as the Game Of Thrones star appeared to not be expecting such a show of public affection so soon.
Evidently all tuckered out by his introduction to Emilia’s camera, Ted was then seen collapsed in his bed on his back alongside his new toy…that was a…what is that…could it…a…dragon?
Oh, we see what you did there!
While there was much conversation about the breed of Ted in the comments, it seems the little one (which many wanted Emilia to name Dragon) is a long-haired Dachshund.
The star is making her adjustment to post-Game Of Thrones life swimmingly by the looks of things having landed the lead role in Last Christmas as well as her first stage production since wrapping the HBO epic.
Fans will have the chance to see the Mother of Dragons IRL in March, as the actress returns to the stage in Chekhov’s The Seagull. Jamie Lloyd, the man responsible for Tom Hiddleston appearance in Betrayal and James McAvoy’s Cyrano, will direct Emilia in a version of the classic play adapted by award-winning playwright Anya Reiss.
Excitedly sharing the news on Instagram last month, Emilia wrote: ‘Yahoo! She’s gonna be treading them boards at the Playhouse Theatre in London 11th March- 30th May 2020!!’
The West End run will mark Emilia’s first return to the stage since her 2013 stint as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s on Broadway.
It comes as the star continues to reminisce about her time on the George RR Martin-inspired show, revealing her character helped her gain an identity.
Emilia admitted she was close to balling as she talked about how the feisty character became her ‘saviour’.
Speaking in the brand new season eight blue-ray DVD, Emilia confessed: ‘What I realised the other day is the show has given me more than just a job, it’s literally given me a family, it’s given me an identity that I didn’t have.
‘I didn’t think I’d ever be able to play someone like this and so she’s been such a saviour for me in so many ways.’
