LA Rams coach Sean McVay is binge-watching “Game of Thrones” while staying home during the coronavirus crisis.
The NFL guru apparently managed to miss the HBO sensation the first time around, and has been recently turned onto the hit by his fiancee Veronika Khomyn, he told his pal John Roa as the first guest on Roa’s new podcast, “Leading From Home.” (On the show, entrepreneur Roa interviews top professionals in isolation.)
But when an amused Roa asked McVay’s predictions for how “Game of Thrones” ends — the coach managed to guess how the series wraps! Just a few episodes into the series’ second season, McVay’s first prediction about what will happen in Westeros was about as woefully off target as foreseeing that the Jets will win next year’s Super Bowl.
“I want to see Rob Stark continue his assault on the Lannisters because I just can’t stand them,” he said, unaware of the inevitable and infamous “red wedding” episode. But then he added, “You know, maybe Aria will come save the day.” McVay said he’s also enjoying watching “Billions.”
