New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Last year, precisely around this time ‘The Last of the Starks’ episode of the final season of terrifically popular HBO fantasy series ‘Game of Thrones’ showed a Starbucks cup placed on the Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen’s table (played by British actor with Indian roots, Emilia Clarke).
The goof up was accidental, but led to a storm of meme fests on and off the social media, leading to the free advertising revenues for Starbucks worth $2.3 billion according to a CNBC estimate.
This time, back home in India, the rerun of popular epic ‘Mahabharat’ has led the keen watchers and fans to notice more such on-screen goof ups in one of the episodes of the popular Epic.
A recently viral snippet shows a scene from the BR Chopra-made Battle of Kurukshetra with Bheeshma Pitamah lying on the bed of arrows, and being comforted by his Mother Ganga around the time of his death.
Yet, that emotional moment exceptionally played out through on-screen brilliance of Mukesh Khanna, who played the role of righteous Pitamah.
In the background, where there are dead soldiers lying, one of the ‘dead’ soldiers, seemingly uncomfortable with lying on the ground, decided to revive himself to life and removed his helmet for a bit of comfort. The same portion ended up being part of the broadcast.

However, Tweeples immediately pointed out that the war plain also has injured soldiers who can certainly move around in an effort to ease their pain.

“I doubt if this picture is from a still from the show. And if it is, it is a huge mistake. But from what I can say after seeing it is that it appears to be clicked in between shots. I don’t think such a glaring mistake would have happened from BR Chopra’s side. He was too careful with the making and the editing of Mahabharat,” Mukesh Khanna had said in defence after ‘Water Cooler’ snippet from the Epic went viral.
The re-run of the popular Epics such as Ramayana, Mahabharat and Shree Krishna started after the government announced complete lockdown in India to contain the spread of COVID-19 across the country.
