Game of Thrones is an original HBO series based on George R.R. Martin’s best-selling novels. In a world where summers span decades and winters can last a lifetime, the crown of Westeros comes with a price. Betrayal, lust, intrigue and supernatural forces shake the four corners of the Kingdom, from the scheming south and the savage eastern lands, to the frozen north and the ancient Wall that protects the realm from the darkness beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars and noble men vie for power in the bloody struggle for the Iron Throne.

  1. I want to see lady stone heart aka lady Cat Stark shooting boob lasers at the Lannister and then Danny and her dragons burn down kings landing and casterly rock to the ground. The Starks will live on and kill Roose and Ramsy Bolton.

  2. I LOVE the series 😀 Currently in the middle of the first book and am absorbed in it! Ned Stark is one of my favorite characters and like him I'm honest and primarily follow my own intuition. Cannot wait for season 4 and read the rest of the books!

  3. True, it's quite possible, but at this point it doesn'y really matter. Who is going to believe that someone said to be a Snow has actually always been an heir to the IT? Plus, yeah, he's kindda dead and even if he survives, he still belongs to NW which he didn't leave for Winterfell so it's unlikely he would choose to be king either. He is not a greedy man and has his duties by the Wall.

  4. because he has a strong chance of winning the iron throne in the end.
this is because there is a VERY STRONG theory that Jon Snow is the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna stark and was born in the tower of joy where ned found lyanna dying and jon was born there where he made the promise to protect jon to lyanna as her dying wish so he said he was his bastard son only to protect jon from robert baratheon.
i think Jon will be King after Dany is queen. dany may die or marry jon after finding out

  5. 1. We don't know that
    2. Probably true tho
    3. But who would believe it
    4. He is a crow and I can't believe Martin would just let him forget about that and good, there are consequences to everything in this universe

  6. Well, with him being the next potential successor for the Stark family after Ned and Robb, he somewhat has a claim to be King of the North. Also, you might not be aware of the theory that Lyanna Stark (Ned's dead sister) might have been Jon's mother, while Rhaegar Targaryen (the man who "kidnapped" her) is the father, thus making Jon a Targaryen/Stark, giving him more legitimacy to claim the iron throne.

  7. Teeth who gives a crap ,thats so picky. Bloody hell boy get a grip. Read the books a use your imagination. As for the tv show GOT is absolutely fantastic. There's so much going on I haven't looked at teeth. " shakes head in disambiguating way" God knows what that means ,productive put it in.

  8. also, everyone has perfect teeth. This is a wider cultural phenomenon of course and happens in lots of films as well as television, but that doesn't excuse it. As a viewer/reader, you're trying to immerse yourself in a medieval fantasy world and there are characters with not only all their teeth in their mouth, but white ones? It simply couldn't have happened. Maybe the Maesters and the aristocrats at a push… certainly not the horselords.

  9. world of GRRMartin, and while I am not disposed to writing an essay just now I will give you an example from the first series, the Dothraki wedding: they did kill each other at the wedding and dance carnally, but they wore clothes while they did it, which, revealing as they may have been, portrays a different culture to the Dothraki in the books, who dance and kill each other naked at weddings.

  10. There are lots of specific instances in which they differ such as missing or added dialogue/characters/scenes/events, but that's obviously necessary for compression, and could still be done while staying true to the world of the books. I said 'truer' to the books above because I believe that the show goes a long way towards creating the tone that is created throughout the novels, but there are little tonal shifts here and there that give away that the world of television just isn't ready for the
