  1. I see a lot of commenting about how Ned should have confessed earlier about being a traitor, maybe that would have allowed him to live his life longer and serve the king. But by not compromising on his honour he remains a faithful character. That's why even now people talk about him and for me he serves as the one true lord even seven years later. He is now an example of honour for his generation. And it does payoff. As you can see, after his death the Lannisters are slowly torn apart. His true killers get killed not too long after his death. So in a way good always wins over evil.

  2. This scene announced to the world that GOT is not some fucked-up Disney fairytale. Great courage from the producers and GRRM to kill off the protagonist in the first season. It was series-suicide but it worked well for them

  3. I wish he had said that Joffrey, Tommen and Myrcella were the bastards of Jamie and Cersei, that they had no claim to the throne and Stannis was the rightful king, then exposed Jamie and Cersei for pushing Bran out of the tower and how Jamie stabbed him in the leg, I wish he exposed them for all the terrible things they did

  4. It's been 7 seasons and we still don't know what he said, of course Ned Stark last words would be about something important that we will learn about in Season 8, the last season.

  5. This scene gets me every time. Even Cersei thought this was a bad move. Sansa was doing her best to keep Joffrey satisfied and keep her father alive Arya tried to stop it but The Hound protected her from seeing him die 😭😭😭

  6. 7 Seasons. I have been able rewatch almost any GOT scene. But this is the first time I have been able to rewatch this one. I thought I was finally over it. I was wrong. Ned was awesome and as a fan his death still hurts me.
