Game Of Thrones is officially returning to Northern Ireland with a brand new studio tour worth more than £24million.

The series, which was filmed in Belfast, is a worldwide sensation to this day, despite its divisive finale wrapping up the story more than a year ago.

Now, you can tread through Westeros yourselves, with the project officially being given the green light to be built in Linen Mill Studios in Banbridge, Northern Ireland.

First look photos reveal sets, costumes and special effects will all be available for fans to walk around and see – including some of the biggest landmarks of the seven kingdoms.

The Map Room, Dragonstone’s Throne Room, Castle Black’s Mess Room, Cersei’s Courtyard in King’s Landing, and the famous Winterfell will all be rebuilt for fans to explore.

Photos reveal that Cersei’s costumes will stand prominent in her courtyard, while others worn by actors including Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington will line other important sets.

It’s reported that food and drinks will be made to resemble the catering that the actual actors ate during their ten years shooting the iconic fantasy series.

(Wonder if they’ll sell coffee using the cup?!)

Make Up and special effects teams are also said to be on hand in another segment of the tour, showing off how they made some of the more stand-out prosthetics including the Night King.

Speaking in 2019 to Northern Ireland Screen HBO vice president of licensing and retail, Jeff Peters, said: ‘Some of the most iconic scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed at Linen Mill Studios.

‘Our fans will soon have an opportunity to visit and see the work of the show’s incredible crew in the museum setting it deserves.’

While a launch date is not yet confirmed, it’s guaranteed it’ll be a must-see for every major fan.

We’ll be first in line with our tickets.

Game Of Thrones is available on HBO and Sky Atlantic.
