Game of Thrones’ Rose Leslie and Kit Harington expecting baby

Congratulations are in order for Game of Thrones stars Rose Leslie and Kit Harington, who are expecting their first baby together.

Rose, who played Ygritte on the HBO series, confirmed the happy news in a photoshoot for Make Magazine.

Showing off the actress’ growing baby bump, fashion director Ursula Lake wrote on Instagram: “So wonderful working with the beautiful Rose Leslie for the cover story of @make_magazineuk out now!

“A very special all woman team photographic shoot capturing Rose at this wonderful time as she prepares for motherhood for the first time!”

Rose and Kit, who played Jon Snow, met while making the hit series, with their characters sharing an on-screen relationship too.

They tied the knot back in 2018 at a wedding attended by a number of their Game of Thrones co-stars, including Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams.

Speaking the year before about proposing to Rose, Kit recalled jokingly: “I did have some plans to do it, I was going to string up some lights in some trees and do all the romantic stuff but we were in the country and we were under this beautiful night sky and had a log fire burning and red wine and I blew my load early.

“Sorry that’s a really bad expression,” he added, before clarifying: “I was meant to do it the day after with the lights. What I meant to say was, I popped my question a bit early. Not blew my load.”
