Amazon have some solid discounts on the complete season 1 to 8 collection of Game of Thrones, and this isn’t just some ‘purchase to stream’ deal that’s at the mercy of your internet connection, we’re talking a proper physical boxset that will sit nicely on your shelf and that you know isn’t going anywhere.

The Blu-ray set is currently sitting at £79.99, down from its previous price of £96.69. Meanwhile the DVD collection has been dropped down from £89 to £71.20 if you’re not bothered about high-definition.

If you’ve seen the show already and fancy giving the books a go, we can’t offer a complete collection since George RR Martin hasn’t finished writing them all yet, but you can’t say no to seven A Song of Ice and Fire novels bundled together for £22 can you?
Speaking of George RR Martin, the writer recently confirmed that fan-favourite character Hodor will have a different fate to the TV series when it comes time for him to bite the bucket in the novels.
