The Starks may have come out on top in Game of Thrones, but someone else is pulling a Jon Snow and coming back! It was announced that Nathalie Emmanuel will be in a Dracula reimaging movie called The Bride from the Screen Gems Studio. She is joined by actor Garrett Hedlund. Emma Gladstone will be producing the project with Jessica M. Thompson directing as well as revising an original script from Blair Butler. Production is slated to begin at the end of this summer.

The Bride is supposed to be a reimaging of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. It will follow a young woman who is courted and swept off her feet, only to find out that a gothic conspiracy is afoot. The studio is excited about the film and they hope that it will continue to fill the demand for vampire content. With HBO rebooting True Blood and Netflix’s new vampire series in the works, it seems as if The Bride will have no issues attracting viewers.

While we’re unsure who Nathalie Emmanuel in Dracula reimagining was cast as, fans will be happy to see her on the screen again. Fans were rightly upset when Emmanuel, who played Daenery’s right-hand woman Missandei in Game of Thrones, was murdered by Cersei, so having her come back in The Bride feels like justice has been served in a way.

Besides the Game of Thrones, she’s also been in the Fast and the Furious franchise, and Quibi’s Die Hart. She will next be seen in Zack Snyder’s Army of Thieves and the upcoming Fast and Furious 9.

Hedlund is best known for his roles in films and series such as the Oscar-nominated Mudbound, Triple Frontier, and Tron: Legacy. His most recent film was Lee Daniels’ The United States vs. Billie Holiday. You can next spot Hedlund in The Ploughman alongside Robert Duvall.
