Game of Thrones memorabilia is treasured by fans all over the world, but only a few are as valuable as Jon Snow’s signature weapon Longclaw. The fabled Valyrian steel sword that took down a White Walker at Hardhome was really close to Kit Harington, and was definitely one of his favourite things about playing Jon Snow. He was proud of the sword, so much so that he would often show it off to extras. No wonder he is still sad that HBO didn’t allow him to keep the prop, which he had carried with him and brandished on battlefields on-screen for so many years.
In a recent interview with Wired, Harington answered a couple of questions from Google Autocomplete, and some of them were really hilarious. Check it out down here!
Some of the questions that were included are listed here:
Q: Who was Kit Harington on Friends?
A: I wasn’t actually on Friends.
Q: Is Kit Harington his real name?
A: Actually my real name is Christopher Harington, but my parents always called me Kit. So I’m Kit really. But on my passport, I’m Christopher Harington.
Q: Is Kit Harington in House of The Dragon?
A: No, I asked to be, but they weren’t having it. That’s not true (laughs).
Q: How old was Kit Harington in Season 1 of Game of Thrones?
A: 21
Q: Did Kit Harington keep Longclaw?
A: No, and he’s still bitter about it. HBO kept Longclaw. So you can ask them.
It is quite understandable why Kit Harington is still bitter about it. Would you have loved a replica of Longclaw for yourself? Talk to us in the comments below!
