Game of Thrones adorned the crown of the best TV show of the 21st century, and the crown was star-studded with some of the best talents across the planet. Emilia Clarke, who played Daenerys Targaryen, is definitely one of them. Despite achieving great success as the Mother of Dragons, she has managed to stay true to her roots. Clarke has worked in some of the most famous media franchises in the world, from Game of Thrones to Terminator to Star Wars, and will be joining the MCU very soon.
Her Game of Thrones co-star Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont) recognized how good she was, even though she was nervous during her time on the show. In an interview with The Guardian, he said, “Emilia has no idea how good she is. She really is very innocent of how wonderful she is. And that’s a lovely quality. But you have to be careful it doesn’t undo you, that it doesn’t stop you from having conviction.”
“She’s an incredibly generous, kind person. It’s very easy for actors to get somewhat self-absorbed, particularly when they’re taking on such a big thing. But she was always the one who was looking after people, getting cast meals together – that really binds a group of actors.”
