His Game of Throne villain may have been the most unlovable man in Westeros, but King Joffrey star Jack Gleeson has tied the knot.
The 30-year-old married his long-time girlfriend Roisin O’Neill in an intimate ceremony in Ireland.
Parish priest of Glen Church, Patsy Lynch, confirmed the news with pictures of the happy couple on their big day.
He captioned the shots: ‘ Very simple, prayerful and dignified marriage ceremony for Film Celebrity Jason Gleeson and Roisin: The Glen Church.’
He added: ‘It was an amazing celebration. Everyone was so relaxed. I will treasure so many memories of this special day.’
Fans of the actor praised his ‘simple’ ceremony with others said they ‘felt old’ after watching Jack as the young dictator Joffrey.
Lynch told the Irish Independent: ‘The real ceremony will take place over in England, but the family have been holidaying down here in Ballinskelligs, The Glen, for many years and they have so many happy memories here.’
He added: ‘Jack texted me this morning to say that it was such a wonderful, moving ceremony and afterwards they went for a meal.
‘Because of Ballinskelligs and The Glen it means so much to them, they were just delighted and there was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere right from the very beginning.’
Gleeson starred as Joffrey in Game of Thrones until season four when he was killed off after drinking a chalice of poisoned wine.
