Does The Night King magic increases when there are dragons about? If all the dragons were to die would he loose some of his powers and be destroyed even if replaced by another to keep the balance between the living and the dead equal? As GRRM says evil is just what we call people whose beliefs do not match our owns? I still ponder what the bitter sweet ending will be! If you kill of the main heroes and their opponents it would be just bitter… So what is the sweet part? Dany and Jon having a child as the next heir to the throne… Still that would utterly depressing… bitter bitter with just a sweet note…but really bitter… I was wondering was it in the end a war between the Red God (Fire) and the Night King (Ice) If so the main characters becomes irrelevant so long as the balance between the 2 opposites sides, is kept equal…

I can't believe no-one is talking about this. The Night King is after Jon & Dany's BABY. That's why he's waited until now. Not because of Jon but because of the baby. The Prince (or princess) who was promised isn't Jon or Dany, it's the baby. Think about it, first off neither of them are a prince or princess, they're a king and a queen. Second, we've already seen the Night King turn babies into white walkers (foreshadowing), but only males. For this reason I think the baby will be a female, and for whatever reason (their combined bloodlines most likely), this will be the only female the Night King can turn into a white walker and what he's been seeking all this time……..

Q&A do you think the 3rd big reveal will be why there must slways be a Stark in Winterfell? Will the night king raise the men in the Crypts? The crypts require more explaining also

There's really no reason the Night King has to wait for his army to get to Winterfell. He could fly straight there & burn it to the ground before Jon gets back. Just not in D&D's world.

Does it strike anyone else as funny to hear ANYBODY with a North Carolina accent discuss character development on a show like GOT? Not that native Southerners are ignorant or ill-informed or that they don't possess a fair measure of sophistication. Indeed, some of them have proven to be quite congenial and polite. I know that first-hand. I guess it's just the incongruity of the accent with the topic that tickles me. It's like HeeHaw meets the Metropolitan opera. It throws me for a loop. I guess it just speaks to the universal appeal of the show.

If John or Davos had communicated to Varys that Littlefinger was in Winterfell, Varys could have warned Sansa about his betrayal of Ned, and set off Littlefinger's demise. That would have given Varys more of a purpose this season and been better than just depending on Bran to google it.

Re. Ghost. We have to see him again, yes. I believe at the moment Ghost dies, that's when Jon finally changes and becomes a Targeryan. It will be symbolic.

Best ending idea: the night king is a faceless man

I don't think they will share this in the TV show, but in the books it is noted that Rhaegar's body was never recovered from the Trident. The stream was littered with ruby's from his breastplate (the ruby ford) and washed up on the Quiet Isle. Now, what if somehow, Rhaegar's body was taken away and for some reason taken way up north. Could it somehow be conceivable that Rhaegar became the Night King, and is hence Jon's father? Could this be the ultimate Darth Vader-Luke Skywalker theme?? Is that why the Night King has such an affinity for Jon, and why he is so interested in Bran?

When the episode will be out

I don’t think we necessary know what NK wants, except what we already know – he created to kill all life. Night King does not need other motivation – he is nuclear bomb in a sense, killing not only target, but a creator too.
Children of the Forest is to blame and ask from them question why and how. Answer is we know – to protect Children from men by killing them, by killing them all!
Pretty simple and yet pretty much understandable motivation. He is serious threat and seems right now Night King and his army cannot be stopped.

Just as you say, they rushing things to fast. It was terrible I mean let's take the example with Benjen he saves Jon and he didn't even care. No mentioning or suprise that he was the whole time still alive.

I have a question. What do all of you think of the Night King and the White Walkers because some people hate them because their motives are too simple and they don't plot, or back stab, or connive (as far as we know) like all the other characters and feel that they are too much like the walking dead. Personally, I like them because they are mysterious and I feel that the pure fantasy elements of the show like the magic, dragons, and army of the dead, Asshai in the books are the icing on the cake. So what do all of you think.
